Secular Orbital Dynamics of Exoplanet Satellite Candidates
Solar System Research, 2023The stability of the secular orbital dynamics of a number of potentially existing satellites of exoplanets has been analyzed. The secular dynamics of possible satellites (“exomoons”) of the planets KOI-268.01, Kepler-1000b, and Kepler-1442b have been found to be stable.

Studying exoplanet orbits & dynamics with allesfitter
2022<p>The orbits and dynamics of exoplanet systems can unveil their tales of formation, migration, star-planet interactions, and atmospheric properties. Kepler, TESS, and soon PLATO deliver an unprecedented wealth of new photometric data on this matter, while ground-based follow-up and radial velocity instruments add valuable insights. Here,

Dynamic analyses of the proposed Habitable Exoplanet Astrophysics Facility
Optical Modeling and System Alignment, 2019The proposed Habitable Exoplanet (HabEx) astrophysics facility is one of four large such facilities being proposed to the 2020 decadal. It is a large telescope that is sensitive to ultraviolet, optical, and near-infrared photons. The proposed design’s overall length is on the order of 17.2 m and its maximum cross section is on the order of 5.25 X 5.25 ...

Interior dynamics of small-core and coreless exoplanets
Since the first exoplanet detection in 1992, the study of exoplanets has received considerable attention. It is becoming apparent that the diversity of the general exoplanet population extends beyond that of the Solar System and includes a variety of structures and compositions.Caroline Hasler, Paul Tackley

Connecting exoplanet mantle mineralogy to surface dynamic regime
Based on stellar compositions, we know that rocky exoplanets show a diversity in interior compositions, and therefore mantle mineralogies. The mantle mineralogy controls physical parameters of the mantle, such as viscosity, and therefore strongly affects thermal and dynamical evolution of the interior.Rob Spaargaren +3 more

The long-term tidal dynamics of differentiated rocky exoplanets
OverviewTidal interaction plays a unique role in coupling the thermal, orbital, and rotational evolution of close-in moons and exoplanets. The reaction of a planetary body subjected to tidal loading is determined by its interior structure, rheological properties, and orbital parameters. The interior and orbital dynamics are, conversely, affected by theMichaela Walterova, Marie Behounkova

The Compositional and Dynamical Properties of Exoplanets
The solid surface density profile of protoplanetary discs, and the composition of these solids, can be formed through sequential condensation models of dust precipitating from the cooling gas of the solar nebula. I continue developing a code that reproduces the chemical compositions of most chondrites as well as the bulk compositions of the rocky ...openaire +1 more source
