Solar System Physics for Exoplanet Research [PDF]
Abstract Over the past three decades, we have witnessed one of the great revolutions in our understanding of the cosmos—the dawn of the Exoplanet Era. Where once we knew of just one planetary system (the solar system), we now know of thousands, with new systems being announced on a weekly basis.

Analysis of the exoplanet containing system Kepler-91 [PDF]
We have applied the graphical user interfaced close binary system analysis program WinFitter to an intensive study of Kepler 91 using all the available photometry from the NASA Exoplanet Archive (NEA) at the Caltech website: http://exoplanetarchive.ipac.caltech.edu . Our fitting function for the tidal distortion derives from the relevant Radau equation

We investigate and compare the composition of M-dwarf planets in systems with only one known planet (“singles”) to those residing in multiplanet systems (“multis”) and the fundamental properties of their host stars.

We present a validation of a long-period ( ${91.68278}_{-0.00041}^{+0.00032}$ days) transiting sub-Neptune planet, TOI-1221 b (TIC 349095149.01), around a Sun-like ( m _V = 10.5) star.

Kepler-80 Revisited: Assessing the Participation of a Newly Discovered Planet in the Resonant Chain
In this paper, we consider the chain of resonances in the Kepler-80 system and evaluate the impact that the additional member of the resonant chain discovered by Shallue & Vanderburg has on the dynamics of the system and the physical parameters that can ...

ROME. III. The Arecibo Search for Star–Planet Interactions at 5 GHz
After nearly three decades of discovery, many exoplanetary systems have been studied and characterized in detail with one important exception: exoplanet magnetism.

Polarimetry of exoplanet-exomoon systems [PDF]
Aims. We investigated the potential of polarimetric observations in the optical wavelength range for the detection of exomoons and the characterization of exoplanet-exomoon systems. Methods. Using the three-dimensional Monte Carlo radiative transfer code POLARIS, we calculated flux and polarization phase curves of Earth-like exoplanets with a satellite

Follow-Up and Validation of K2 and TESS Planetary Systems With Keck NIRC2 Adaptive Optics Imaging
High resolution imaging (HRI) is a critical part of the transiting exoplanet follow-up and validation process. HRI allows previously unresolved stellar companions and background blends to be resolved, vetting false positive signals and improving the ...

Early Release Science of the exoplanet WASP-39b with JWST NIRSpec G395H [PDF]
Measuring the abundances of carbon and oxygen in exoplanet atmospheres is considered a crucial avenue for unlocking the formation and evolution of exoplanetary systems^ 1 , 2 .

Resilient habitability of nearby exoplanet systems [PDF]
ABSTRACT We investigate the possibility of finding Earth-like planets in the habitable zone of 34 nearby FGK-dwarfs, each known to host one giant planet exterior to their habitable zone detected by RV. First we simulate the dynamics of the planetary systems in their present day configurations and determine the fraction of stable ...
