An electro‐templating strategy directs the relaxation of cholesteric finger loops into discrete concentric rings whose geometry is electrically programmed. The photopolymerized structures retain the topological defect pattern and, upon heating, show reversible, castle‐like surface modulation.

A dominant descriptive pattern of the Anglo-Italian encounter in modern and contemporary Anglophone fiction has been focusing on representing Italy as a unique constellation of counter-values to Anglo-American culture and its ethos. This tradition can be

Non‐Hermitian Stealthy Hyperuniformity
A framework for non‐Hermitian extensions of hyperuniformity and stealthiness is proposed, generalizing PT‐symmetric gain‐loss crystals to correlated disorder in the weak‐scattering limit. By engineering real‐imaginary correlations of the material potential, this framework enables directional scattering phases inaccessible in Hermitian materials ...

0309 Staging and Displaying Colonialism
The article examines the aesthetic staging and displaying of non-European art, particularly African art and culture, common at international world’s fairs at the turn of the century. As examples serve the Brussels International Exposition of 1897 and the

Orientation‐Engineered Insulator‐Metal Transition in Vanadium Dioxide
Crystallographic orientation engineering in VO2/TiO2 heterostructures enables tunable insulator‐metal transitions. The high‐Miller‐index (102) orientation breaks in‐plane mirror symmetry, inducing anisotropic transport, while its inclined oxygen channels accelerate protonation kinetics.

Formation of Gallium Monofluoride in the Coordination Sphere of Nickel
The elusive gas‐phase species gallium monofluoride forms selectively in the coordination sphere of a nickel(II) centre as a product of C(sp3)–F bond activation, with a weakly coordinating anion as the fluorine source. The herein reported gallium monofluoride ligand acts as a very strong σ‐donor ligand at nickel and serves as a fluorine donor towards ...
