Método de Papadakis e número de repetições em experimentos de soja The Papadakis method and the replications number in soybean experiments

Balancing Precision and Retention in Experimental Design

open access: yesPolitical Analysis
Abstract In experimental social science, precise treatment effect estimation is of utmost importance, and researchers can make design choices to increase precision. Specifically, block-randomized and pre-post designs are promoted as effective means to increase precision.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Relação entre diferença mínima significativa e coeficiente de variação nos ensaios de competição de cultivares Relation among least significant difference and coefficient of variation in the cultivar competition trials

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Interplay of gaugino (co)annihilation processes in the context of a precise relic density calculation

open access: yes, 2015
The latest Planck data allow one to determine the dark matter relic density with previously unparalleled precision. In order to achieve a comparable precision on the theory side, we have calculated the full $\mathcal{O}(\alpha_s)$ corrections to the most

The direct experimental detection of the systematic error of precise levelling [PDF]

open access: yesSymposium - International Astronomical Union, 1979
A method is described for determining one and only one parameter governing the refraction effect of levelling. The central idea is that this parameter is determined not by (temperature) measurements during the observation but by adding one more element in the Least Squares Adjustment of the levelling network.Furthermore is described an experiment where
