THE CLITIC LI AT THE SYNTAX-PHONOLOGY INTERFACE: AN EXPERIMENTALLY INFORMED ACCOUNT

Among Serbo-Croatian (SC) clitics, the interrogative li seems to be unique in showing a peculiar type of sensitivity with respect to the type of host it cliticizes (on)to. Whereas li is unproblematically hosted by a finite verb, when hosted by an l-participle, the outputs are treated as fully ungrammatical.

Benchmarking Large Language Models for Polymer Property Predictions

Large language models (LLMs) are fine‐tuned on polymer thermal property datasets to directly predict glass transition, melting, and decomposition temperatures from SMILES inputs. Compared to state‐of‐the‐art models such as Polymer Genome, polyGNN, and polyBERT, LLMs achieve competitive yet lower accuracy.

Digitising biological collections to advance National Species Inventories: A case study from the flora of Chile

In response to Chile's public policy to establish a national biodiversity inventory and monitoring system, we launched the HerbarioDigital.cl portal. We have digitised over 120,000 specimens representing more than 3,900 species from two Chilean herbaria, integrating them through a curated local taxonomic index.
