Experimental Verification of the Temperature Coefficient of Resistivity
We have created an experimental procedure for determining the temperature coefficient of resistivity, αR, for introductory physics laboratories. As in the procedure from Henry, this method examines the relationship between temperature and resistivity to establish αR within 10% of the accepted value.

Graphical Verification of a Spatial Logic for the Graphical Verification of a Spatial Logic for the pi-calculus [PDF]
The paper introduces a novel approach to the verification of spatial properties for finite [pi]-calculus specifications. The mechanism is based on a recently proposed graphical encoding for mobile calculi: Each process is mapped into a (ranked) graph ...

On Using First-Order Theorem Provers in the Jahob Data Structure Verification System [PDF]
This paper presents our integration of efficient resolution-based theorem provers into the Jahob data structure verification system. Our experimental results show that this approach enables Jahob to automatically verify the correctness of a range of

Experimental Verification of Dual Airgap PMVM Having Yokeless Rotor for Extended Speed Application
Permanent magnet vernier machines (PMVM) are recently proven to be a good candidate for extended-speed operation in the constant power region. In this paper, a dual-airgap PMVM having a yokeless rotor has been presented for extended-speed operation.

Experimental Verification of the ‘Clock-Paradox’ of Relativity [PDF]
EINSTEIN'S theory of relativity predicts that if one of twin brothers leaves home in a space ship and spends a considerable amount of time travelling at high velocity with respect to his home inertial frame, then, when the traveller returns home, he will find himself physiologically younger than his stay-at-home brother, and his pocket watch will have ...

Experimental verification of the acoustic geometric phase
Optical geometric phase encoded by in-plane spatial orientation of microstructures has promoted the rapid development of numerous functional meta-devices. However, pushing the concept of the geometric phase toward the acoustic community still faces challenges.

ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...
