Navigating the Complexity: A Comprehensive Review of GSK‐3 Inhibition in Regenerative Medicine

open access: yesMedicinal Research Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Glycogen synthase kinase‐3 (GSK‐3) is a central regulator of numerous cellular signaling pathways, with critical roles in metabolism, proliferation, differentiation, and tissue regeneration. This review explores the multifaceted effects of pharmacological GSK‐3 inhibition across multiple body districts, focusing on its highly context‐dependent

Endoscopic small bowel therapies for type 2 diabetes

open access: yesNutrition in Clinical Practice, EarlyView.
Abstract Type 2 diabetes is a global epidemic despite current medical treatments. Many patients are not responsive to medications, and patients with obesity are hesitant about bariatric surgery. Studies investigating the metabolic effects of Roux‐en‐Y gastric bypass have increasingly demonstrated that the duodenum plays a key role in the ...

AS1517499 Protects Auditory Hair Cells Against Cisplatin‐Induced Damage In Vitro

open access: yesSensory Neuroscience, EarlyView.
AS1517499 alleviates cisplatin‐induced ototoxicity by reducing oxidative stress and apoptosis in cochlear hair cells. AS1517499 pretreatment reduces cisplatin‐induced cellular damage in HEI‐OC1 cells and hair cell loss in cochlear explants, thereby improving cell viability and preserving cochlear hair cells.
