Wind speed prediction for small sample dataset using hybrid first‐order accumulated generating operation‐based double exponential smoothing model

open access: yesEnergy Science & Engineering, 2022
Wind power generation has recently emerged in many countries. Therefore, the availability of long‐term historical wind speed data at various potential wind farm sites is limited.

Exponential Triples [PDF]

open access: yesThe Electronic Journal of Combinatorics, 2011
Using ultrafilter techniques we show that in any partition of $\mathbb{N}$ into 2 cells there is one cell containing infinitely many exponential triples, i.e. triples of the kind $a,b,a^b$ (with $a,b>1$). Also, we will show that any multiplicative $IP^*$ set is an "exponential $IP$ set", the analogue of an $IP$ set with respect to exponentiation.

Deterministic modeling for radiation attenuation-integrated radon transform in emission computed tomography: Algorithm, curve fitting analysis, and introduction of attenuation hadamard matrix

open access: yesJournal of Medical Physics, 2023
Purpose: The purpose of the study is to propose an algorithm to implement and visualize radiation attenuation-integrated Radon transform based on Beer–Lambert law during emission computed tomography simulation using a deterministic model and also to ...

The gamma exponentiated exponential-Weibull distribution

open access: yesFilomat, 2016
Anewfour-parameter model called the gamma-exponentiated exponential-Weibull distribution is being introduced in this paper. The new model turns out to be quite flexible for analyzing positive data. Representations of certain statistical functions associated with this distribution are obtained. Some special cases are pointed out as well. The

Moments of Progressive Type-II Right Censored Order Statistics from a General Class of Doubly Truncated Continuous Distributions [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Statistical Theory and Applications (JSTA), 2014
In this paper we derive some general recurrence relations between moments of progressively Type-II right censored order statistics from a general class of doubly truncated distributions, thus unifying the earlier results in this direction due to several ...

Epidemic Data Analysis of Three Variants of COVID-19 Spread in Indonesia

open access: yesJurnal Ilmu Komputer dan Informasi, 2022
Three variants of COVID-19 had been found in Indonesia. A control strategy may rely on the transmission rate of the variant. This study aims to investigate how the variants spread in Indonesia by computing a basic and effective reproduction number on the

Exact and Numerical Elastic Analysis for the FGM Thick-Walled Cylindrical Pressure Vessels with Exponentially-Varying Properties

open access: yesArchives of Metallurgy and Materials, 2016
Assuming exponential-varying properties in the radial direction and based on the elasticity theory, an exact closed-form analytical solution is obtained to elastic analysis of FGM thick-walled cylindrical pressure vessels in the plane strain condition ...

On exponentiating exponentiation

open access: yesJournal of Pure and Applied Algebra, 1981
It is well known that for any (small) category J, the category EnsJ of functors from J into the category of sets, is Cartesian closed (in fact it is an elementary topos, see for example Lawvere [l] or Tierney [4]). An exercise in MacLane [3, p. 961 suggests that a functor category KJ is Cartesian closed whenever K is Cartesian closed; however, it is ...
