Finite dimensional exponential attractor for the phase field model
We consider the phase field equations in arbitrary space dimension. We show that the corresponding boundary value problems are well-posed when assuming that the initial data is square integrable and prove the existence of a maximal attractor and of an ...

Exponential attractors for abstract equations with memory and applications to viscoelasticity
We consider an abstract equation with memory of the form $$\partial_t \boldsymbol{x}(t)+\int_{0}^\infty k(s) \boldsymbol{A}\boldsymbol{x}(t-s){\rm d} s+\boldsymbol{B}\boldsymbol{x}(t)=0$$ where $\boldsymbol{A},\boldsymbol{B}$ are operators acting on some Banach space, and the convolution kernel $k$ is a nonnegative convex summable function of unit mass.

A series of ultraviolet‐ and near‐infrared radiation sensitive photoactivatable hydrogels are developed that can be controlled spatiotemporally down to µm precisions using one‐ and two‐photon uncaging. The latent hydroxylamine‐, hydrazine‐, and amine uncaged moieties are used to photopattern a series of diverse proteins displaying complimentary ...

Heteroclinic Chaos, Chaotic Itinerancy and Neutral Attractors in Symmetrical Replicator Equations with Mutations [PDF]
A replicator equation with mutation processes is numerically studied. Without any mutations, two characteristics of the replicator dynamics are known: an exponential divergence of the dominance period, and hierarchical orderings of the attractors. A mutation introduces some new aspects: the emergence of structurally stable attractors, and chaotic ...

The non‐fullerene acceptor o‐IDT‐BT‐DCV is used in both binary and ternary blends to investigate the role that it plays in each device architecture. The charge generation pathways are found to differ between the binary and ternary blends with o‐IDT‐BT‐DCV becoming a second donor in the ternary blend.

This work investigates modifying interfacial contacts in realizing giant‐performance semiconductor nanomembrane optoelectronics. Strategies, including surface reaction and buffer layer work‐function modulation, are explored to boost the Schottky barrier. An emerging material of YbOx is utilized for near‐ideal Ohmic contact.

Dynamical analysis for a scalar–tensor model with Gauss–Bonnet and non-minimal couplings
We study the autonomous system for a scalar–tensor model of dark energy with Gauss–Bonnet and non-minimal couplings. The critical points describe important stable asymptotic scenarios including quintessence, phantom and de Sitter attractor solutions. Two

Predicting 2D Crystal Packing in Thin Films of Small Molecule Organic Materials
A computational method is proposed for predicting the 2D molecular packing in crystalline thin films of flexible organic molecules. The approach employs a grid search for molecular arrangements, achieving accurate predictions of 2D packing motifs with strongly reduced computational costs.
