Two‐dimensional shear wave elastography demonstrated strong correlation with magnetic resonance elastography and high diagnostic accuracy for liver fibrosis across stages in 744 patients with chronic liver disease, supporting its role as a reliable non‐invasive tool for fibrosis assessment.

Implantoplasty Positively Influences Biofilm Removal During Toothbrush: An In Vitro Study
ABSTRACT Purpose To analyse the effect of implantoplasty on the efficacy of brushing dental implants. Methods Acrylic hemi‐arches were made to simulate a horizontal bone loss condition in an implant in position 46, exposing 3 mm of its cervical intra‐osseous portion. Implantoplasty was performed on the implant surfaces of the test group, and no surface

The Legacy of Policy Inaction in Climate‐Growth Models
ABSTRACT To better understand the structure and core mechanisms of a broad class of climate‐growth models, we study a simplified version of the dynamic integrated model of climate and the economy (DICE) through the lens of growth theory. We analytically show that this model features a continuum of saddle‐point stable steady states.

Pairwise Imitation and Tournament Graphs
ABSTRACT This paper investigates strategic dynamics under the behavioral rule of pairwise interact and imitate (PII), which requires minimal information and emphasizes outperforming opponents in pairwise interactions. We characterize PII using weak tournament graphs and, for a broad class of dynamics, establish a one‐shot stability result for ...

Miners' Reward Elasticity and Stability of Competing Proof‐of‐Work Cryptocurrencies
ABSTRACT Proof‐of‐Work cryptocurrencies employ miners to sustain the system through algorithmic reward adjustments. We develop a stochastic model of the multicurrency mining and identify conditions for stable transaction speeds. Bitcoin's algorithm requires hash supply elasticity <$<$1 for stability, while ASERT remains stable for any elasticity and ...

How Does Progressivity Affect the Tax Cut Multiplier?
ABSTRACT How does the targeting of personal income tax cuts affect the output multiplier? This paper provides quantitative evidence using a heterogeneous‐agent New‐Keynesian model calibrated to match US distributions of income, wealth, marginal tax rates, and marginal propensities to consume.

Inference via the Skewness‐Kurtosis Set
Summary Kurtosis minus squared skewness is bounded from below by 1, but for unimodal distributions, this parameter is bounded by 189/125. In some applications, it is natural to compare distributions by comparing their kurtosis‐minus‐squared‐skewness parameters. The asymptotic behavior of the empirical version of this parameter is studied here for i.i.d.

Linking the Comparison and Graphical Approaches to Bipartite Matching
Summary Bipartite record linkage has the goal of identifying observations referring to the same individual, called coreferent observations, across two distinct non‐duplicated datasets. The two main approaches to solve this task are the Fellegi–Sunter model, which relies on pairwise comparisons of observations, and the graphical record linkage model ...

Standing on a common ground: a comparison of static stability approaches for pallet loading
Abstract At the practical level, the static stability constraint is one of the most important constraints in practical pallet loading problems, such as air cargo palletizing. Approaches to modeling static stability, which range from base support and mechanical equilibrium calculations to physical simulation, differ in workflow, focus, and assumptions ...
