Mixtures of Exponential Distributions
Arbitrary nonparametric mixtures of exponential and Weibull (fixed shape) distributions are considered as possible models for a lifetime distribution. A characterization of such distributions is given by the well-known characterization of Laplace transforms.

The fabrication and post‐treatment via solvent annealing of poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene) polystyrene sulfonate‐based electrodes using spray deposition in a roll‐to‐roll setup are presented. The decrease in sheet resistance and its correlation with nanostructure and molecular structure in the electrodes as a function of the processing parameters is ...

Markovian queues with correlated arrival processes [PDF]
In an attempt to examine the effect of dependencies in the arrival process on the steady state queue length process in single server queueing models with exponential service time distribution, four different models for the arrival process, each with ...

This study examines the mechanical properties of triply periodic minimal surfaces (TPMS)‐based lattices, analyzing 36 architectures in elastic and plastic regimes. It evaluates the applicability of beam‐based scaling laws to TPMS lattices. Rigidity arises from the alignment of members with the load direction and solid regions preventing rotation.

Multivariate Distributions with Exponential Minimums
The multivariate distribution of a set of random variables has exponential minimums if the minimum over each subset of the variables has an exponential distribution. Such distributions are shown equivalent to the more strongly structured multivariate exponential distributions described by Marshall and Olkin in 1967 in the sense that a multivariate ...

This study explores aerosol jet‐printed (AJP) surface roughness, its effects on the performance of microwave electronics, and its process contributors. First, an electromagnetic model is vetted for AJP's unique roughness signature. Simulations are built which show process‐induced roughness is as significant as conductor resistivity in driving microwave

Odd Generalized Exponential Flexible Weibull Extension Distribution
In this article we introduce a new four - parameters model called the odd generalized exponential flexible Weibull extension (OGE-FWE) distribution which exhibits bathtub-shaped hazard rate.

On the distribution of cubic exponential sums [PDF]
Abstract. Using the theory of metaplectic forms, we study the asymptotic behavior of cubic exponential sums over the ring of Eisenstein integers. In the first part of the paper, some non-trivial estimates on average over arithmetic progressions are obtained.
