New High‐Tc Charge‐Transfer Multiferroicity in the Quasi‐2D Antiferromagnet CrSbS3
ABSTRACT Low‐dimensional magnets, particularly 2D systems, offer a rich platform for realizing unconventional multiferroic mechanisms, especially when multiple polarization channels coexist. In the quasi‐2D antiferromagnet CrSbS3, which crystallizes in the centrosymmetric orthorhombic space group Pnma and orders magnetically at TN ≈ 90 K, two ...

ML Workflows for Screening Degradation‐Relevant Properties of Forever Chemicals
The environmental persistence of per‐ and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) necessitates efficient remediation strategies. This study presents physics‐informed machine learning workflows that accurately predict critical degradation properties, including bond dissociation energies and polarizability.

A Hybrid Problem on the Exponential Family
It is frequently of interest to an investigator to decide whether an unknown parameter lies in some interval and also to obtain a point estimate of the parameter. There are many instances in practice where one does this by first testing a hypothesis and then estimating.

Sustainable Materials Design With Multi‐Modal Artificial Intelligence
Critical mineral scarcity, high embodied carbon, and persistent pollution from materials processing intensify the need for sustainable materials design. This review frames the problem as multi‐objective optimization under heterogeneous, high‐dimensional evidence and highlights multi‐modal AI as an enabling pathway.

STAU2 undergoes phase separation to form dynamic condensates that package target mRNAs and deliver them to the distal ends of growing neuronal dendrites. STAU2 condensates stabilize embedded mRNAs and repress their translation. Synaptic activity bidirectionally remodels STAU2 condensates, coordinating local translation of STAU2‐associated mRNAs ...

Extending a theorem of Datko for evolutionary families
In this note, we extend Datko’s result in the paper [1972]zbMATH03381120. In particular, the exponential stability of evolutionary families is characterized by its pointwise trajectories in which the norm mapping of each pointwise trajectory lies in a ...

Dynamic Regulation of Endogenous Transcription Factor Hubs at Single‐Molecule Resolution
This study combines single‐molecule microscopy and genome editing to characterize the dynamic behaviors of endogenous oncofusion transcription factor EWS::FLI1 in Ewing sarcoma cells. EWS::FLI1 forms neomorphic hubs that dynamically assemble and dissolve. The hubs are regulated during mitosis, by RNA, and by specific chemicals.

Stratified Exponential Families: Graphical Models and Model Selection [PDF]
We provide a classification of graphical models according to their representation as exponential families. Undirected graphical models with no hidden variables are linear exponential families (LEFs), directed acyclic graphical (DAG) models and chain ...
