Nonuniform exponential stability for evolution families on the real line
The purpose of the present paper is to investigate the problem of nonuniform exponential stability of evolution families on the real line using the input-output technique known in the literature as the Perron method for the study of exponential stability.

Monitoring of Social Network and Change Detection by Applying Statistical Process: ERGM [PDF]
The statistical modeling of social network data needs much effort because of the complex dependence structure of the tie variables. In order to formulate such dependences, the statistical exponential families of distributions can provide a flexible ...

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

On Weak Exponential Expansiveness of Evolution Families in Banach Spaces
The aim of this paper is to give several characterizations for the property of weak exponential expansiveness for evolution families in Banach spaces. Variants for weak exponential expansiveness of some well-known results in stability theory (Datko (1973)

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Asymptotic optimality of sequential designs for estimation
This paper is concerned with the problem of allocating a fixed number of trials between K independent populations from the exponential family, in order to estimate a linear combination of the means with squared error loss.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Group Invariance of Information Geometry on q-Gaussian Distributions Induced by Beta-Divergence
We demonstrate that the q-exponential family particularly admits natural geometrical structures among deformed exponential families. The property is the invariance of structures with respect to a general linear group, which transitively acts on the space

Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...
