Development of 4T1 breast cancer mouse model system for preclinical carbonic anhydrase IX studies
Carbonic anhydrase IX (CAIX) is a well‐recognised therapeutic target and prognostic biomarker in cancer. We developed and characterised a robust murine breast cancer model system that is suitable for CAIX studies in vitro and in vivo—it comprises both CAIX‐positive and CAIX‐negative controls and provides a solid platform for the comprehensive ...

A New Explanation of Some Leiden Ranking Graphs Using Exponential Functions
A new explanation, using exponential functions, is given for the S-shaped functional relation between the mean citation score and the proportion of top 10% (and other percentages) publications for the 500 Leiden Ranking universities.

Comparison of Exponential-Logarithmic and Logarithmic-Exponential series [PDF]
We explain how the field of logarithmic-exponential series constructed in \cite{DMM1} and \cite {DMM2} embeds as an exponential field in any field of exponential-logarithmic series constructed in \cite{KK1}, \cite {K} and \cite {KS}. On the other hand, we explain why no field of exponential-logarithmic series embeds in the field of logarithmic ...

Functional Equations for the Stochastic Exponential [PDF]
We consider stochastic versions of the Cauchy exponential functional equation and give a martingale characterization of the general solution.

q‐Rung orthopair fuzzy set (q‐ROFS) is a powerful tool that attracts the attention of many scholars in dealing with uncertainty and vagueness. The aim of paper is to present a new score function of q‐rung orthopair fuzzy number (q‐ROFN) for solving the ...

Exponential asymptotics of the Voigt functions [PDF]
We obtain the asymptotic expansion of the Voigt functions $K(x,y)$ and $L(x,y)$ for large (real) values of the variables $x$ and $y$, paying particular attention to the exponentially small contributions. A Stokes phenomenon is encountered as $y\rightarrow+\infty$ with $x>0$ fixed. Numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the accuracy of these

Earthing effects on mitochondrial function: ATP production and ROS generation
In contrast to sham and naive controls, grounded mitochondria not only exhibit significantly enhanced energy production but also demonstrate a remarkable reduction in membrane potential and oxidative stress. This suggests a profound improvement in mitochondrial health, presenting a promising avenue for therapeutic interventions.

A Levi–Civita Equation on Monoids, Two Ways
We consider the Levi–Civita equation f(xy)=g1(x)h1(y)+g2(x)h2(y)f\left( {xy} \right) = {g_1}\left( x \right){h_1}\left( y \right) + {g_2}\left( x \right){h_2}\left( y \right) for unknown functions f, g1, g2, h1, h2 : S → ℂ, where S is a monoid.

Some novel exponential function structures to the Cahn–Allen equation
In this manuscript, we consider the Bernoulli sub-equation function method for obtaining new exponential prototype structures to the Cahn–Allen mathematical model. We obtained new results using this technique.

Hardware implementation of the exponential function using Taylor series
This paper presents hardware implementations of Taylor series. The focus will be on the exponential function but the methodology is applicable on any unary function.
