The study presents an efficient simulation approach for the polymer laser powder bed fusion process polymers process, validated with polyamide 12, polyamide 6, and polyetherketoneketone. It shows that inter layer time affects part density, with 90s yielding dense parts.

A note on large deviations for unbounded observables [PDF]
We consider exponential large deviations estimates for unbounded observables on uniformly expanding dynamical systems. We show that uniform expansion does not imply the existence of a rate function for unbounded observables no matter the tail behavior of the cumulative distribution function.

An electronic system is presented consisting of a silver thin‐film electrode on a polyimide substrate working both as a heating element and a resistive temperature sensor, generating millisecond heat pulses with very fast heating and cooling rates and a flat peak temperature with a tunable duration.

A Remark on the Inequalities of Bernstein - Markov Type in Exponential Orlicz and Lorentz Spaces [PDF]
We prove in this article the generalizations on the exponential Orlicz spaces Markov's - Bernstein's inequalities for algebraic polynomials and rational functions.

QUANTUM EXPONENTIAL FUNCTION [PDF]
A special function playing an essential role in the construction of quantum "ax+b"-group is introduced and investigated. The function is denoted by Fℏ(r,ϱ), where ℏ is a constant such that the deformation parameter q2=e-iℏ. The first variable r runs over non-zero real numbers; the range of the second one depends on the sign of r: ϱ=0 for r>0 and ϱ=±

The microstructure of Cr‐rich Cr‐Si‐alloys is maintained by alloying with Ge, Pt, and Mo. The effects of these elements on A15‐phase fraction, partitioning, microstructural stability, grain size, and hardness are combinable. Molybdenum is found to be the most promising alloying element for microstructural stability during high‐temperature exposure.

Three-Dimensional Dead-Reckoning Based on Lie Theory for Overcoming Approximation Errors
This paper proposes a dead-reckoning (DR) method for vehicles using Lie theory. This approach treats the pose (position and attitude) and velocity of the vehicle as elements of the Lie group SE2(3) and follows the computations based on Lie theory ...
