The semi-exponential basis set of radial functions (A.M. Frolov, Physics Letters A {\bf 374}, 2361 (2010)) is used for variational computations of bound states in three-electron atomic systems.

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Statistics on Graphs, Exponential Formula and Combinatorial Physics [PDF]
The concern of this paper is a famous combinatorial formula known under the name "exponential formula". It occurs quite naturally in many contexts (physics, mathematics, computer science).

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Linkage disequilibrium and the genetic distance in livestock populations: the impact of inbreeding
Genome-wide linkage disequilibrium (LD) is subject to intensive investigation in human and livestock populations since it can potentially reveal aspects of a population history, permit to date them and help in fine-gene mapping.

Kinetically Modified Non-Minimal Inflation With Exponential Frame Function
We consider Supersymmetric (SUSY) and non-SUSY models of chaotic inflation based on the phi^n potential with n=2 or 4. We show that the coexistence of an exponential nonminimal coupling to gravity, fR=Exp(cR phi^p), with a kinetic mixing of the form fK ...

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Estimates of the Discrepancy Function in Exponential Orlicz Spaces [PDF]
We prove that in all dimensions n at least 3, for every integer N there exists a distribution of points of cardinality $ N$, for which the associated discrepancy function D_N satisfies the estimate an estimate, of sharp growth rate in N, in the ...

More on the exponential bound of four dimensional simplicial quantum gravity
A crucial requirement for the standard interpretation of Monte Carlo simulations of simplicial quantum gravity is the existence of an exponential bound that makes the partition function well-defined. We present numerical data favoring the existence of an
