The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

Spectral exponential sums on hyperbolic surfaces I
We study an exponential sum over Laplace eigenvalues $\lambda_{j} = 1/4+t_{j}^{2}$ with $t_{j} \leqslant T$ for Maass cusp forms on $\Gamma \backslash \mathbb{H}$ as $T$ grows, where $\Gamma \subset PSL_{2}(\mathbb{R})$ is a cofinite Fuchsian group ...

Linear recurrences and asymptotic behavior of exponential sums of symmetric boolean functions [PDF]
In this paper we give an improvement of the degree of the homogeneous linear recurrence with integer coefficients that exponential sums of symmetric Boolean functions satisfy. This improvement is tight.

A Workflow to Accelerate Microstructure‐Sensitive Fatigue Life Predictions
This study introduces a workflow to accelerate predictions of microstructure‐sensitive fatigue life. Results from frameworks with varying levels of simplification are benchmarked against published reference results. The analysis reveals a trade‐off between accuracy and model complexity, offering researchers a practical guide for selecting the optimal ...

Changes of Material Properties of Silumin During Age-Hardening
Simple phenomenological description of age-hardening kinetics of supersaturated solid solution is presented using the sum of exponential functions with negative arguments containing rate constants whose temperature dependence is described by the ...

Exponential and infinitary divisors [PDF]
Our paper is devoted to several problems from the field of modified divisors: namely exponential and infinitary divisors. We study the behaviour of modified divisors, sum-of-divisors and totient functions.

Low‐cycle fatigue damage in Mn–Mo–Ni reactor pressure vessel steel is examined using a combined electron backscatter diffraction and positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy approach. The study correlates texture evolution, dislocation substructure development, and vacancy‐type defect formation across uniform, necked, and fracture regions, providing

Additive Gaussian Process Regression for Predictive Design of High‐Performance, Printable Silicones
A chemistry‐aware design framework for tuning printable polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) for vat photopolymerization (VPP) is developed using additive Gaussian process (GP) modeling. Polymer network mechanics informs variable groupings, feasible formulation constraints, and interaction variables.
