Exponential Sums over Points of Elliptic Curves [PDF]
We derive a new bound for some bilinear sums over points of an elliptic curve over a finite field. We use this bound to improve a series of previous results on various exponential sums and some arithmetic problems involving points on elliptic curves.

The Weight Distributions of a Class of Cyclic Codes with Three Nonzeros over 𝔽3
Cyclic codes have efficient encoding and decoding algorithms. The decoding error probability and the undetected error probability are usually bounded by or given from the weight distributions of the codes.

On the non-hyperbolicity of a class of exponential polynomials
In this paper we have constructed a class of non-hyperbolic exponential polynomials that contains all the partial sums of the Riemann zeta function. An exponential polynomial been also defined to illustrate the complexity of the structure of the set ...

INCOMPLETE EXPONENTIAL SUMS OVER EXPONENTIAL FUNCTIONS [PDF]
We extend some methods of bounding exponential sums of the type $\displaystyle\sum_{n\le N}e^{2πiag^n/p}$ to deal with the case when $g$ is not necessarily a primitive root. We also show some recent results of Shkredov concerning additive properties of multiplicative subgroups imply new bounds for the sums under consideration.

A Novel Integral Equation for the Riemann Zeta Function and Large t-Asymptotics
Based on the new approach to Lindelöf hypothesis recently introduced by one of the authors, we first derive a novel integral equation for the square of the absolute value of the Riemann zeta function.

Some Nonlinear Exponential Smoothing Models are Unstable [PDF]
This paper discusses the instability of eleven nonlinear state space models that underly exponential smoothing. Hyndman et al. (2002) proposed a framework of 24 state space models for exponential smoothing, including the well-known simple exponential ...
