Functions of exponential type and separated sequences [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1989
Proof. Suppose the Ai satisfy (1) for every f E Ep . We leave it to the reader to show that Im (Aj) is bounded; this is analogous to the argument below, but simpler. Supposing this, we show that the Ai can be partitioned into a finite union of separated sequences.

Effects of Creep in Titanium at Room Temperature during Tensile and Profilometry‐Based Indentation Plastometry Testing

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This article concerns room temperature tensile testing, with a range of (nominal) strain rates, of three titanium alloys. Stress–strain curves are analyzed to obtain creep characteristics. Profilometry‐based indentation plastometry testing is also covered, using different penetration velocities, and correlations established with tensile data.

An Examination of Aerosol Jet‐Printed Surface Roughness and its Impact on the Performance of High‐Frequency Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study explores aerosol jet‐printed (AJP) surface roughness, its effects on the performance of microwave electronics, and its process contributors. First, an electromagnetic model is vetted for AJP's unique roughness signature. Simulations are built which show process‐induced roughness is as significant as conductor resistivity in driving microwave

Diatomic molecular energy spectra and thermodynamic properties of exponential inversely quadratic plus improved deformed exponential-type potential

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2023
By employing the Pekeris-type approximation to deal with the centrifugal term, we study the thermodynamic properties and approximate analytical solutions of the Schrödinger equation with the exponential inversely quadratic plus improved deformed ...

From Nature to Engineering: Mortar Volume and Interfacial Mechanics in Bioinspired Ceramics

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Inspired by natural armors like nacre, this study explores how varying the volume fraction of the soft mortar layer impacts the interfacial strength and toughness of bioinspired ceramics. Experimental and computational analysis reveals that higher mortar volumes increase energy dissipation but reduce interfacial stiffness, offering insights for ...

Study of Hybrid Problems under Exponential Type Fractional-Order Derivatives

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics
In this investigation, we develop a theory for the hybrid boundary value problem for fractional differential equations subject to three-point boundary conditions, including the antiperiodic hybrid boundary condition.

An extremal problem for a class of entire functions of exponential type [PDF]

open access: yesCRAS. Ser. I, 346 (2008) 825-828, 2008
We find the exact upper estimate for the upper density of zeros of entire functions of exponential type whose indicator diagram is contained in a given interval.

Facet‐Junction Induced Strong Metal Support Interaction for Enhanced Alkaline Hydrogen Evolution Reaction

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, a novel facet‐junction strategy is proposed to enhance the strong metal‐support interaction (SMSI) between the loaded Ru atoms and the Co3O4 support. The synthesized structure with the incorporation of Ru doping and the (100)/(111) crystal plane junction has a particular influence on the catalyst's hydrogen evolution reaction (HER ...
