Hermite-Hadamard type Inequalities via $p$--Harmonic Exponential type Convexity and Applications

open access: yesUniversal Journal of Mathematics and Applications, 2021
In this work, we introduce the idea and concept of $p$--harmonic exponential type convex functions. We elaborate on the newly introduced idea by examples and some interesting algebraic properties.

Trapezium-Type Inequalities for k-Fractional Integral via New Exponential-Type Convexity and Their Applications

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2020
In this paper, the authors investigated the concept of s,m-exponential-type convex functions and their algebraic properties. New generalizations of Hermite–Hadamard-type inequality for the s,m-exponential-type convex function ψ and for the products of ...

Exponential stability of Hopfield neural networks of neutral type with multiple time-varying delays

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics, 2021
This paper investigates the problem for exponential stability of Hopfield neural networks of neutral type with multiple time-varying delays. Different from the existing results, the states of the neurons involve multiple time-varying delays and time ...

New $L^2$-type exponentiality tests

open access: yesSort-statistics and Operations Research Transactions, 2018
We introduce new consistent and scale-free goodness-of-fit tests for the exponential distribution based on the Puri-Rubin characterization. For the construction of test statistics we employ weighted L2 distance between V-empirical Laplace transforms of random variables that appear in the characterization.

A note on the axioms for Zilber's pseudo-exponential fields [PDF]

open access: yesNotre Dame J. Formal Logic 54, nos. 3-4 (2013), 509-520, 2010
We show that Zilber's conjecture that complex exponentiation is isomorphic to his pseudo-exponentiation follows from the a priori simpler conjecture that they are elementarily equivalent. An analysis of the first-order types in pseudo-exponentiation leads to a description of the elementary embeddings, and the result that pseudo-exponential fields are ...

On the Representation of Correlated Exponential Distributions by Phase Type Distributions [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2021
In this paper we present results for bivariate exponential distributions which are represented by phase type distributions. The paper extends results from previous publications [5, 14] on this topic by introducing new representations that require a smaller number of phases to reach some correlation coefficient and introduces different ways to describe ...

Rate of convergence of exponential type operators related to $$p\left( x\right) =2x^{3/2}$$ for functions of bounded variation

open access: yes, 2020
The present article deals with the approximation of certain exponential type operators defined by Ismail and May. We estimate the rate of convergence of these operators for functions of bounded variation.

Convergence estimates of a family of approximation operators of exponential type

open access: yes, 2020
The main object of this article is to consider a family of approximation operators of exponential type, which has presumably not been studied earlier due mainly to their seemingly complicated behavior.
