Positive Interpolation Operators with Exponential-Type Weights

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2013
We consider positive operators on the real line with property of interpolation, and we show the weighted -convergence of the operators. We will construct an analogical operator of one which is studied by Knopfmacher (1986).

β‐TrCP overexpression enhances cisplatin sensitivity by depleting BRCA1

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Low levels of β‐TrCP (Panel A) allow the accumulation of BRCA1 and CtIP, which facilitate the repair of cisplatin‐induced DNA damage via homologous recombination (HR) and promote tumor cell survival. In contrast, high β‐TrCP expression (Panel B) leads to BRCA1 and CtIP degradation, impairing HR repair, resulting in persistent DNA damage and apoptosis ...

Differential extension fields of exponential type [PDF]

open access: yesPacific Journal of Mathematics, 1975
The special properties of differential extension fields which can be generated by elements with logarithmic derivatives in the base field are worked out. The results are analogous to those for Kummer extensions of ordinary fields, where ntΆ roots are adjoined.

Glycosylated LGALS3BP is highly secreted by bladder cancer cells and represents a novel urinary disease biomarker

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Urinary LGALS3BP is elevated in bladder cancer patients compared to healthy controls as detected by the 1959 antibody–based ELISA. The antibody shows enhanced reactivity to the high‐mannose glycosylated variant secreted by cancer cells treated with kifunensine (KIF).

Multivalence of bivariate functions of bounded index

open access: yesLe Matematiche, 2015
This paper examines the relationship between the concept of bounded index and the radius of equivalence, respectively p-valence, of entire bivariate functions and their partial derivatives at arbitrary points in C^2.

New inequalities via n-polynomial harmonically exponential type convex functions

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics, 2020
In this work we introduced a new class of functions called n-polynomial harmonically exponential type convex and study some of their algebraic properties.

Liquid biopsy epigenetics: establishing a molecular profile based on cell‐free DNA

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) fragments in plasma from cancer patients carry epigenetic signatures reflecting their cells of origin. These epigenetic features include DNA methylation, nucleosome modifications, and variations in fragmentation. This review describes the biological properties of each feature and explores optimal strategies for harnessing cfDNA ...

Generalized Semi Exponential Type Estimator under Systematic Sampling

open access: yesJournal of Statistical Theory and Applications (JSTA), 2018
In sample surveys, collection of auxiliary information together with the main variable of interest is very important to increase the efficiency of the estimators of population parameters of interest.

ATF4‐mediated stress response as a therapeutic vulnerability in chordoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We screened 5 chordoma cell lines against 100+ inhibitors of epigenetic and metabolic pathways and kinases and identified halofuginone, a tRNA synthetase inhibitor. Mechanistically halofuginone induces an integrated stress response, with eIF2alpha phosphorylation, activation of ATF4 and its target genes CHOP, ASNS, INHBE leading to cell death ...

Some Matrix-Variate Models Applicable in Different Areas

open access: yesAxioms, 2023
Matrix-variate Gaussian-type or Wishart-type distributions in the real domain are widely used in the literature. When the exponential trace has an arbitrary power and when the factors involving a determinant and a trace enter into the model or a matrix ...
