Stochastic modelling of earthquake interoccurrence times in Northwest Himalaya and adjoining regions
This work concentrates on the distribution of earthquake interevent times in northwest Himalaya and its adjacent regions. We consider 12 time-dependent probability distributions for analysis.

A New Version of Kumaraswamy Distribution With Estimations and Applications
In this article, the unit interval in the Kumaraswamy distribution is extended to double‐bounded interval. The proposed model is constituted by the transformation of a logistic random variable with a power parameter, flexible enough to fit a wide range of real‐life scenarios involving risk evaluation.

Estimation of Parameters in Exponentiated-Weibull Distribution in Presence of Mask Data [PDF]
When the lifetime data from the series system are masked, we consider the reliability estimation of exponentiated-Weibull distribution based on different masking level. We consider a series system of two independent component which follows exponentiated-

New Bivariate Exponentiated Modified Weibull Distribution [PDF]
The new modified Weibull distribution named exponentiated modified Weibull distribution introduced by many authors. In this study, we define and study a bivariate modified Weibull distribution. Some joint probability functions and conditional probability density function are obtained. Also, joint survival function is expressed in compact form.

A Leptokurtic‐Form Birnbaum‐Saunders Distribution With Applications to Finance
ABSTRACT We propose here a new multivariate Birnbaum‐Saunders (BS‐type) distribution characterized by its leptokurtic property, making it particularly useful in the field of finance. Unlike the approach of Romeiro et al., our proposal is also based on scale mixtures of normal distributions (SMN), but with the mixing variable following a BS distribution,

The Alpha‐Logarithmic Power Transformed Exponential (ALPTE) distribution is introduced as a highly versatile lifetime model, demonstrating superior goodness‐of‐fit over common distributions (e.g., Gamma, Weibull) across diverse datasets. Its robust performance, even with data heterogeneity and outliers, showcases its adaptability for modeling various ...

This research centers on the creation of an innovative statistical model that extends the inverse exponential (IE) distribution by employing the Rayleigh‐exponentiated odd generalized (REOG) family of distributions, which is designated as the REOG‐IE distribution.

Topp–Leone Modified Weibull Model: Theory and Applications to Medical and Engineering Data
In this article, a four parameter lifetime model called the Topp–Leone modified Weibull distribution is proposed. The suggested distribution can be considered as an alternative to Kumaraswamy Weibull, generalized modified Weibull, extend odd Weibull ...

Modified generalized Weibull distribution: theory and applications
This article presents and investigates a modified version of the Weibull distribution that incorporates four parameters and can effectively represent a hazard rate function with a shape resembling a bathtub. Its significance in the fields of lifetime and

A New Weibull-G Family of Distributions [PDF]
Statistical analysis of lifetime data is an important topic in reliability engineering, biomedical and social sciences and others. We introduce a new generator based on the Weibull random variable called the new Weibull-G family.
