The Preparation of Novel Fluorenes Inspired by Hipposudoric Acid
In this research we report on the design and synthesis of a series of fluorene‐based derivatives loosely inspired by the tricyclic framework of hipposudoric acid. Preparation of sixteen novel N‐alkylated derivatives was accomplished via a series of concise one‐step amide N‐alkylation reactions.

ABSTRACT Background and Aims Amoxicillin, alone or combined with clavulanic acid, is widely used for the treatment of bacterial infections. While clavulanic acid expands amoxicillin's antibacterial spectrum by inhibiting β‐lactamases, differences in their real‐world safety profiles and reporting patterns remain relevant for pharmacovigilance and ...

EXTENDED SPECTRUM Β- LACTAMASE PRODUCING SHIGELLA FLEXNERIA CASE REPORT
Infection by Shigella species is one of the major cause of morbidity especially in children with diarrhea. Extended spectrum β lactamases (ESBL) confer resistance to most of the beta-lactam antibiotics, including penicillins, cephalosporins and ...
