Disordered but rhythmic—the role of intrinsic protein disorder in eukaryotic circadian timing

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Unstructured domains known as intrinsically disordered regions (IDRs) are present in nearly every part of the eukaryotic core circadian oscillator. IDRs enable many diverse inter‐ and intramolecular interactions that support clock function. IDR conformations are highly tunable by post‐translational modifications and environmental conditions, which ...

Evading Weinberg's no-go theorem to construct mass dimension one fermions: Constructing darkness

open access: yes, 2017
Recent theoretical work reporting the construction of a new quantum field of spin one half fermions with mass dimension one requires that Weinberg's no go theorem must be evaded. Here we show how this comes about.

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

Application of Internet Plus nursing services in the management of chronic diseases among the elderly (“互联网+护理服务”在老年慢性病患者管理中的应用)

open access: yes中西医结合护理
With the increasingly significant aging trend of China's population, the number of patients with chronic diseases is constantly rising, and the characteristics of chronic diseases determine that most of the treatment and rehabilitation time is spent in ...
