Machine Learning for Green Solvents: Assessment, Selection and Substitution

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Environmental regulations have intensified demand for green solvents, but discovery is limited by Solvent Selection Guides (SSGs) that quantify solvent sustainability. Training a machine learning model on GlaxoSmithKline SSG, a database of sustainability metrics for 10,189 solvents, GreenSolventDB is developed. Integrated with Hansen solubility metrics,

Duality relations for hypergeometric series

open access: yes, 2014
We explicitly give the relations between the hypergeometric solutions of the general hypergeometric equation and their duals, as well as similar relations for q-hypergeometric equations.

Mapping Genetic Regulation of Transcription to Identify Functional Variants and Genes Associated with Pancreatic Cancer Risk

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Integration of a pancreatic eQTL map with a GWAS meta‐analysis identifies 82 putative functional variants and 15 genes. The association between rs11102484 and pancreatic cancer risk is observed in a total of 5699 cases and 8467 controls. The G allele of rs11102484 weakens ZNF263 binding and the silencer‐promoter interaction, thereby increasing ST7L ...

The extended Exton's quadruple hypergeometric function $K^{(\alpha,\beta)}_{15,p}$ and its properties

open access: yesJournal of Innovative Applied Mathematics and Computational Sciences
In this paper, we introduce the extended Exton's hypergeometric function $K^{(\alpha,\beta)}_{15,p}$ using the extended beta function given by \"{O}zergin et al.

Notes on algebraic functions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2003
Consideration of the monodromy group of the hypergeometric equation z(1−z)w″+[γ−(1+α+β)z]w′−αβw=0, in the case of α=1/6, β=5/6, γ=7/6, shows that the global hypergeometric function solution F(1/6;5/6;7/6;z) is nonalgebraic although it has only algebraic ...

Algorithms for the indefinite and definite summation

open access: yes, 1994
The celebrated Zeilberger algorithm which finds holonomic recurrence equations for definite sums of hypergeometric terms $F(n,k)$ is extended to certain nonhypergeometric terms. An expression $F(n,k)$ is called a hypergeometric term if both $F(n+1,k)/F(n,

Organ‐Specific and Conserved Regulatory Logic Orchestrates Gene Expression in the Embryonic Mesothelium

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Integrated multi‐omic profiling maps the gene‐regulatory landscape of the coelomic mesothelium across heart, lung, and pancreas. A cardiac‐restricted regulatory program is uncovered in which TBX20 activates heart mesothelial (epicardial) cis‐regulatory elements, while MAF emerges as a conserved regulator of mesothelial identity.

A New Closed-Form Formula of the Gauss Hypergeometric Function at Specific Arguments

open access: yesAxioms
In this paper, the authors briefly review some closed-form formulas of the Gauss hypergeometric function at specific arguments, alternatively prove four of these formulas, newly extend a closed-form formula of the Gauss hypergeometric function at some ...

A BioLiving Periosteum Evokes Centripetal Regeneration in Challenging Bone Defects

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Large bone defects often suffer from insufficient central healing. This study engineers a BioLiving periosteum that mimics the native structure. It sequentially delivers remote chemical cues and contact physical cues in a signaling‐relay manner, effectively recruiting and guiding endogenous cells toward the defect center.

Diversity of Pharmaceuticals Enhances Antibiotic Resistance in the Invertebrate Gut via Biofilm‐Mediated Mechanisms

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Pharmaceutical diversity acts as an independent driver of antibiotic resistance in soil invertebrates. While bulk soil remains unaffected, the collembolan gut microbiome exhibits significant resistance gene enrichment under complex chemical exposure and diurnal warming.
