Toward Event-Triggered Extended State Observer
In this note, we consider event-triggered extended state observer (ET-ESO) design for a continuous-time nonlinear system with uncertainty and disturbance. Since the convergence of the ET-ESO depends on the design of the triggering condition directly, the goal is to design a realizable triggering condition not relying on the state of the plant.

A novel extended state observer
ISA Transactions, 2015A novel extended state observer, which feeds back the output estimation error via both nonlinear and switching terms, is put forward for the first time in this paper. No longer neglecting the lumped uncertainty׳s first time derivative, the problem of disturbance observer design is transformed into the problem of state observer design in the presence of

A novel fuzzy extended state observer
ISA Transactions, 2020In designing the extended state observer (ESO), one of the most challenging issues is its performance improvement. In this paper, a simple fuzzy system is proposed to improve the performance of ESO and changes this observer into fuzzy extended state observer (FESO). This FESO is an intelligent linear form of the ESO.

Event-Triggered Extended State Observer
Based on the performance analysis on discrete-time ESO and the gain parameter design provided in Chap. 2, we consider the event-triggered extended state observer (ET-ESO) design for a continuous-time nonlinear system with uncertainty and disturbance in this chapter.

Extended high gain observer design for state and parameter estimation
This paper investigates the design of an extended high gain observer to estimate the state together with some unknownconstant parameters for a class of nonlinear systems. We firstly consider the case where all the parameters are known. A high gain state observeris proposed and its exponential convergence is carried out under a well defined persistent ...

Extended State Observer for Nonlinear Systems with Uncertainty
IFAC Postprint Volumes IPPV / International Federation of Automatic Control, 2011Abstract The extended state observer first proposed by Jingqing Han in [J. Q. Han, The extended state observer for a class of uncertain systems, Control and Decision, 10(1)(1995), 85-88] is the main interim loop of active disturbance rejection control that is taking off as a technology after numerous successful applications in engineering ...

A new extended state observer is proposed in this paper. The internal and external disturbances acting on the nonlinear system in the actual operating environment are reduced to "unknown disturbances". State variables and extended state variables in system are estimated and compensated in real time with input and output data.
