Nonlinearly Realized Extended Supergravity [PDF]

open access: yesPhys.Rev.D82:075008,2010, 2010
We provide nonlinear realization of supergravity with an arbitrary number of supersymmetries by means of coset construction. The number of gravitino degrees of freedom counts the number of supersymmetries, which will be possibly probed in future experiments.

Focus point supersymmetry in extended gauge mediation [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2014
We propose a small extenion of the minimal gauge mediation through the combination of extended gauge mediation and conformal sequestering. We show that the focus point supersymmetry can be realized naturally, and the fine-tuning is signifcantly reduced compared to the minimal gauge mediation and extended gauge mediation without focus point.

Notes on Characterizations of 2d Rational SCFTs: Algebraicity, Mirror Symmetry, and Complex Multiplication

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 73, Issue 1-2, February 2025.
Abstract S. Gukov and C. Vafa proposed a characterization of rational N=(1,1)$N=(1,1)$ superconformal field theories (SCFTs) in 1+1$1+1$ dimensions with Ricci‐flat Kähler target spaces in terms of the Hodge structure of the target space, extending an earlier observation by G. Moore.

Coset construction of a D-brane gauge field

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2016
D-branes have a world-volume U(1) gauge field A whose field strength F=dA gives rise to a Born–Infeld term in the D-brane action. Supersymmetry and kappa symmetry transformations of A are traditionally inferred by the requirement that the Born–Infeld ...

Flavor in SU(5)$SU(5)$ Finite Grand Unified Models

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 72, Issue 12, December 2024.
Abstract Four SU(5)N=1$SU(5) \nobreakspace N=1$ supersymmetric models which exhibit S3$S_3$ and/or ZN$Z_N$ symmetries are studied, that are finite to two or all loops, and their corresponding mass matrices. The first is an all‐loop finite model based on an S3×Z3×Z2$S_3\times Z_3\times Z_2$ flavor symmetry, which leads to phenomenologically nonviable ...

Refining the classification of the irreps of the 1D N-Extended Supersymmetry [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The linear finite irreducible representations of the algebra of the 1D N-Extended Supersymmetric Quantum Mechanics are discussed in terms of their "connectivity" (a symbol encoding information on the graphs associated to the irreps).

Constrained superfields in dynamical background

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
We study the nonlinear realization of supersymmetry in a dynamical/cosmological background in which derivative terms like kinetic terms are finite. Starting from linearly realized theories, we integrate out heavy modes without neglecting derivative terms

Fermions in a Reissner-Nordström-anti-de Sitter Black Hole Background and $N=4$ Supersymmetry with non-trivial Topological Charges [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We demonstrate that the fermions in Reissner-Nordstr\"{o}m-anti-de Sitter black hole background in the chiral limit $m=0$, are related to an $N=4$ extended one dimensional supersymmetry with non-trivial topological charges. We also show that the $N=4$ extended supersymmetry is unbroken and we extend the two $N=2$ one dimensional supersymmetries that ...

Branes, central charges and U-duality invariant BPS conditions [PDF]

open access: yesClass.Quant.Grav. 15 (1998) 749-758, 1997
In extended supergravity theories there are $p$-brane solutions preserving different numbers of supersymmetries, depending on the charges, the spacetime dimension and the number of original supersymmetries (8, 16 or 32). We find U-duality invariant conditions on the quantized charges which specify the number of supersymmetries preserved with a ...
