Extended supersymmetries and the Dirac operator [PDF]

open access: yesAnnals of Physics, 2005
We consider supersymmetric quantum mechanical systems in arbitrary dimensions on curved spaces with nontrivial gauge fields. The square of the Dirac operator serves as Hamiltonian. We derive a relation between the number of supercharges that exist and restrictions on the geometry of the underlying spaces as well as the admissible gauge field ...

A Modified N=2 Extended Supersymmetry [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physical Mathematics, 2014
A modification of the usual extended N = 2 supersymmetry algebra implementing the two dimensional permutation group is performed. It is shown that one can found a multiplet that forms an off-shell realization of this alternative extension of standard supersymmetry.

Quantum extended supersymmetries

open access: yesAnnalen der Physik, 2004
Abstract We analyse some quantum multiplets associated with extended supersymmetries. We study in detail the general form of the causal (anti)commutation relations. The condition of positivity of the scalar product imposes severe restrictions on the (quantum) model.

Embedding formalism for (p, q) AdS superspaces in three dimensions

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
We develop an embedding formalism for (p, q) anti-de Sitter (AdS) superspaces in three dimensions by using a modified version of their supertwistor description given in the literature. A coset construction for these superspaces is worked out.

Generalized Faddeev–Popov method for a deformed supersymmetric Yang–Mills theory

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2015
In this paper, we will study the deformation of a three dimensional N=2 supersymmetry gauge theory. We will deform this theory by imposing non-anticommutativity. This will break the supersymmetry of the theory from N=2 supersymmetry to N=1 supersymmetry.

4D N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 1 Kaluza-Klein superspace

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
Motivated by recent efforts to encode 11D supergravity in 4D N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 1 superfields, we introduce a general covariant framework relevant for describing any higher dimensional supergravity theory in external 4D N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 1 ...

Complete superspace classification of three-dimensional Chern-Simons-matter theories coupled to supergravity

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
For extended N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ ≤ 8 supersymmetry we classify all possible gauge groups for a scalar multiplet allowed by the algebras of global and local supersymmetry in three dimensions. A detailed discussion of supersymmetry enhancement is included.

Superspace higher derivative terms in two dimensions

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
We study (2, 2) and (4, 4) supersymmetric theories with superspace higher derivatives in two dimensions. A characteristic feature of these models is that they have several different vacua, some of which break supersymmetry.

Conformal Invariance, N-extended Supersymmetry and Massless Spinning Particles in Anti-de Sitter Space [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
Starting with a manifestly conformal ($O(d,2)$ invariant) mechanics model in $d$ space and 2 time dimensions, we derive the action for a massless spinning particle in $d$-dimensional anti-de Sitter space.
