Non-uniqueness of the supersymmetric extension of the O(3) σ-model
We study the supersymmetric extensions of the O(3) σ-model in 1+1 and 2+1 dimensions. We show that it is possible to construct non-equivalent supersymmetric versions of a given model sharing the same bosonic sector and free from higher-derivative terms.

Gauged (Super)Conformal Models
Superconformal mechanics describes superparticle dynamics in near-horizon geometries of supersymmetric black holes. We systematically study the minimal compatible set of constraints required for a gauged superconformal symmetry.

Weak gravity versus scale separation
We give evidence that fully supersymmetric Anti-de Sitter vacua of extended supergravity with a residual gauge group containing an abelian factor cannot be scale separated as a consequence of the weak gravity conjecture. We prove this for N = 2 and N = 8

All (4,0): Sigma models with (4,0) off-shell supersymmetry
Off-shell (4, 0) supermultiplets in 2-dimensions are formulated. These are used to construct sigma models whose target spaces are vector bundles over manifolds that are hyperkähler with torsion.

Nonperturbative unification and extended supersymmetry [PDF]
Abstract We consider the nonperturbative unification scenario proposed by Maiani, Parisi and Petronzio in N =2 supersymmetric extensions of the standard model. Low-energy gauge coupling constants are computed using two-loop renormalization group equations, with a mass spectrum deduced from simple assumptions on the soft terms necessary to break ...

Supersymmetry in quantum mechanics: an extended view [PDF]
The concept of supersymmetry in a quantum mechanical system is extended, permitting the recognition of many more supersymmetric systems, including very familiar ones such as the free particle. Its spectrum is shown to be supersymmetric, with space-time symmetries used for the explicit construction. No fermionic or Grassmann variables need to be invoked.

With the rapid progress of dark matter direct detection experiments, the attractiveness of the popular bino-dominated dark matter in economical supersymmetric theories is fading.

Abstract We consider a planar Coulomb gas ensemble of size N$N$ with the inverse temperature β=2$\beta =2$ and external potential Q(z)=|z|2−2clog|z−a|$Q(z)=|z|^2-2c \log |z-a|$, where c>0$c>0$ and a∈C$a \in \mathbb {C}$. Equivalently, this model can be realised as N$N$ eigenvalues of the complex Ginibre matrix of size (c+1)N×(c+1)N$(c+1) N \times (c+1)

Holomorphic field theories and higher algebra
Abstract Aimed at complex geometers and representation theorists, this survey explores higher dimensional analogs of the rich interplay between Riemann surfaces, Virasoro and Kac‐Moody Lie algebras, and conformal blocks. We introduce a panoply of examples from physics — field theories that are holomorphic in nature, such as holomorphic Chern‐Simons ...

Pauli-Lubanski, supertwistors, and the superspinning particle
We present a novel construction of the super-Pauli-Lubanski pseudo-vector for 4D supersymmetry and show how it arises naturally from the spin-shell constraints in the supertwistor formulation of superparticle dynamics.
