Extended Trial Equation Method for Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations

open access: yesZeitschrift für Naturforschung A, 2015
Abstract The main objective of this paper is to use the extended trial equation method to construct a series of some new solutions for some nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs) in mathematical physics. We will construct the solutions in many different functions such as hyperbolic function solutions, trigonometric function ...

Nematicons in liquid crystals by extended trial equation method

Journal of Nonlinear Optical Physics & Materials, 2017
This paper employs extended trial equation method to retrieve nematicons in liquid crystals from its governing equation. In addition, several other forms of solution naturally emerged from the integration algorithm. These are shock waves, singular solitons, snoidal waves, periodic singular waves, plane waves and others.

A multiple extended trial equation method for the fractional Sharma-Tasso-Olver equation

open access: yesAIP Conference Proceedings, 2013
In this paper, a multiple extended trial equation method is proposed to seek exact solutions of nonlinear time-fractional equation. The validity and advantages of the proposed method are illustrated by its application to the Sharma-Tasso-Olver equation.

Optical soliton perturbation for Gerdjikov–Ivanov equation by extended trial equation method

Optik, 2018
Abstract This paper obtains bright and singular optical soliton solutions to perturbed Gerdjikov–Ivanov equation by the aid of extended trial equation method. This work is an extension of the previously reported results where unperturbed version of the model was addressed.

Optical solitons with anti-cubic nonlinearity by extended trial equation method

Optik, 2017
Abstract The extended trial equation method is applied to extract bright and singular optical solitons, with anti-cubic nonlinearity, in addition to singular periodic and doubly periodic solutions. The results of this paper are generalized and extended versions of previously reported solutions.

Optical solitons in DWDM system by extended trial equation method

Optik, 2017
Abstract This paper obtains bright and singular optical solitons by the aid of extended trial equation approach. Both Kerr law and parabolic law of nonlinearity are considered. Solutions are obtained in terms of elliptic functions and in the limiting cases of the modulus of ellipticity, soliton solutions as well as periodic singular solutions fall ...

Parallel propagation of dispersive optical solitons by extended trial equation method

open access: yesOptik, 2017
Abstract This paper applied extended trial equation algorithm to obtain dispersive optical solitons in DWDM system that is governed by the Schrodinger–Hirota equation with Kerr law nonlinearity. Bright and singular soliton solutions are reported.
