Polarization dependence of optical pump-induced change of graphene extinction coefficient
We used pump-probe spectroscopy to study the dependence of optical pump-induced change of graphene extinction coefficient on polarization. We find that the optical pump-induced change of graphene extinction coefficient is polarization-dependent for light

Minimally Invasive Delivery of Optical Nanosensors Using Injectable Hydrogels
Injectable peptide hydrogels offer a minimally invasive delivery platform for single‐walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT)‐based near‐infrared fluorescent sensors, enabling real‐time measurement of drug concentrations. Encapsulated SWCNTs show a dose‐dependent fluorescence response across physiologically relevant concentrations and retain their fluorescence ...

Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...

Thickness‐Dependent Infrared Emissivity of Ultrathin Freestanding MoSiN Nanocomposite Membranes
ABSTRACT Metals and dielectrics show opposite trends in thickness‐dependent infrared emissivity: metallic films exhibit a rise in emissivity below a critical thickness, while dielectric films show a corresponding decline. For applications demanding both high emissivity and mechanical strength in membranes with nanoscale thickness, combining these ...
