Oscillations in a neurite growth model with extracellular feedback [PDF]
We take into account the influence of extracellular signalling on neurite elongation in a model of neurite growth mediated by building proteins (e.g. tubulin). Tubulin production dynamics was supplied by a function describing the influence of the extracellular signalling that can promote or depress the elongation.

ABSTRACTObjectiveCerebrospinal fluid (CSF) orexin‐A has been suggested to be a biomarker of Alzheimer disease (AD). In both cognitively unimpaired healthy older adults and individuals with symptomatic AD, CSF orexin‐A is positively associated with CSF Aβ42, p‐tau181, and total tau (t‐tau) concentrations.

Summary: About 150 modifications have been identified in RNA species. Besides their regulatory roles in the intracellular gene expression, abundant modified RNA nucleosides are catabolized from RNA and released into extracellular fluids, which can impact

Influences of transversely-isotropic rheology and translational diffusion on the stability of active suspensions [PDF]
Suspensions of self-motile, elongated particles are a topic of significant current interest, exemplifying a form of `active matter'. Examples include self-propelling bacteria, algae and sperm, and artificial swimmers. Ericksen's model of a transversely-isotropic fluid [J. L. Ericksen, Colloid Polym. Sci. 173(2):117-122 (1960)] treats suspensions of non-

Phase 1, First‐In‐Human, Single‐/Multiple‐Ascending Dose Study of Iluzanebart in Healthy Volunteers
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics of iluzanebart, a fully human monoclonal antibody TREM2 (triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 2) agonist, after single‐ (SAD) and multiple‐ascending‐dose (MAD) administration.

Study of Correlation Between Glucose Concentration and Reduced Scattering Coefficients in Turbid media using Optical Coherence Tomography [PDF]
Noninvasive, non-contact and \textit{in vivo} monitoring of blood glucose is a long needed pathology tool for saving patients from recurring pain and hassle that can accompany conventional blood glucose testing methods. Optical coherence tomography known for its high axial resolution imaging modality is adopted in this article for monitoring glucose ...

Universal Proteomic Signature After Exercise‐Induced Muscle Injury in Muscular Dystrophies
ABSTRACT Objective Several neuromuscular disorders (NMDs) are characterized by progressive muscle damage and are marked by the elevation of circulating muscle proteins from activity‐related injury. Despite a diverse array of genetic drivers, many NMDs share similar patterns of exercise intolerance and higher concentrations of muscle injury proteins ...
