This article extends the study of q-versions of analytic functions by introducing and studying the association of starlike functions with trigonometric cosine functions, both defined in their q-versions.

Functional extreme learning machine
IntroductionExtreme learning machine (ELM) is a training algorithm for single hidden layer feedforward neural network (SLFN), which converges much faster than traditional methods and yields promising performance. However, the ELM also has some shortcomings, such as structure selection, overfitting and low generalization performance.MethodsThis article ...

Characterizing extremal coefficient functions and extremal correlation functions
We focus on two dependency quantities of a max-stable random field $X$ on some space $T$: the extremal coefficient function $θ$ which we define on finite sets of $T$ and the extremal correlation function $χ(s,t)=\lim_{x \uparrow \infty} \PP(X_s \geq x \mid X_t \geq x)$.

Many natural real-valued functions of closed curves are known to extend continuously to the larger space of geodesic currents. For instance, the extension of length with respect to a fixed hyperbolic metric was a motivating example for the development of

We study the extremal correlation functions of (twisted) chiral ring operators via superlocalization in N = 2 , 2 $$ \mathcal{N}=\left(2,\ 2\right) $$ superconformal field theories (SCFTs) with central charge c ≥ 3, especially for SCFTs with Calabi-Yau ...

ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Extremal functions for sequences
This paper deals with a certain kind of finite sequences of symbols having no immediate repetition and with no alternating subsequence of length \(s\). Strong upper and lower bounds on the maximum length of such sequences with \(n\) symbols are well known. In this paper the author discusses some properties of the generalization of this concept and goes

Extremal Functions with Vanishing Condition [PDF]
We determine the optimal majorant $M^+$ and minorant $M^-$ of exponential type for the truncation of $x\mapsto (x^2+a^2)^{-1}$ with respect to general de Branges measures. We prove that \[ \int_\mathbb{R} (M^+ - M^-) |E(x)|^{-2}dx = \frac{1}{a^2 K(0,0)} \] where $K$ is the reproducing kernel for $\mathcal{H}(E)$.

Extremal Functions and Calderón's Reproducing Formula for the Laguerre-Bessel Two-Wavelet Transform [PDF]
The main purpose of this paper is to study the wavelet transform associated with the Laguerre-Bessel transform and to provide an integral representation of the extremal function related to this transform. We then introduce the notion of a Laguerre-Bessel
