Objective Sjögren's disease is an autoimmune disorder that can impact multiple organ systems, including the peripheral nervous system (PNS). PNS manifestations, which can exist concurrently, include mononeuropathies, polyneuropathies, and autonomic nervous system neuropathies.

Extremal Matching Energy of Random Polyomino Chains
Polyomino graphs is one of the research objectives in statistical physics and in modeling problems of surface chemistry. A random polyomino chain is a subgraph of a polyomino graph.

Objective Knee osteoarthritis (OA) commonly affects individuals with type 2 diabetes (T2DM) and is associated with increased risk of diabetes‐related complications. To better understand potential mechanisms, we examined the association between symptomatic knee OA and glycemic control in individuals with T2DM.

Extremals of functions on graphs with applications to graphs and hypergraphs
AbstractThe method used in an article by T. S. Matzkin and E. G. Straus [Canad. J. Math. 17 (1965), 533–540] is generalized by attaching nonnegative weights to t-tuples of vertices in a hypergraph subject to a suitable normalization condition. The edges of the hypergraph are given weights which are functions of the weights of its t-tuples and the graph

Objective Frailty occurs prematurely in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and is associated with poor health outcomes. We compared the performance of four frailty instruments, including a pragmatic alternative measure using chair sit‐to‐stand (STS), and evaluated their abilities to predict poor health outcomes.

Further results on permanents of Laplacian matrices of trees
The research on the permanents of graph matrices is one of the contemporary research topic in algebraic combinatorics. Brualdi and Goldwasser characterized the upper and lower bounds of permanents of Laplacian matrices of trees.

Introduction/purpose: Degree-based graph invariants are a type of molecular descriptor that represent the connectivity of atoms (vertices) in a molecule through bonds (edges). They are used to model structural properties of molecules and provide valuable

Det-Extremal Cubic Bipartite Graphs
Let G be a connected k-regular bipartite graph with bipartition $V(G) = X \cap Y$ and adjacency matrix A. We say G is det-extremal if per(A) = |det(A)|. Det-extremal k-regular bipartite graphs exist only for k = 2 or 3.
