Extrusion‐Based Additive Manufacturing of Advanced Ceramics: Strengthening Mechanisms and Process Optimization Review

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This review comprehensively evaluates extrusion‐based additive manufacturing for advanced ceramics, detailing feedstock options and key process parameters. By critically addressing defect mechanisms like porosity and cracking, the work highlights optimization strategies through machine learning and advanced postprocessing.

On the universal method to solve extremal problems [PDF]

open access: yes
Some applications of the theory of extremal problems to mathematics and economics are made more accessible to non-experts.1.The following fundamental results are known to all users of mathematical techniques, such as economist, econometricians, engineers

Certain Extremal Problems on a Classical Family of Univalent Functions

open access: yesMathematics
Consider the collection A of analytic functions f defined within the open unit disk D, subject to the conditions f(0)=0 and f′(0)=1. For the parameter λ∈[0,1), define the subclass R(λ) as follows:R(λ):=f∈A:Ref′(z)>λ,z∈D.

Optoelectronic Synaptic Devices Using Molecular Telluride Phase‐Change Inks for Three‐Factor Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

Gauss-Lobatto Formulae and Extremal Problems with Polynomials

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2008
Using quadrature formulae of the Gauss-Lobatto type, we give some new results for extremal problems with polynomials.

On an Extremal Problem for Colored Trees

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Combinatorics, 1999
The paper asks for the maximum number of vertices of trees possessing a proper \(n\)-colouring of their vertices such that they do not contain a subdivision of a properly \(n\)-colored star \(K_{1,3}\) (thus bounding the maximum degree by \(2n-2)\) or of a path \(u_1,\dots,u_{3k}\) with \(u_1, \dots, u_k, u_{2k+1}, \dots,u_{3k}\) of the same color and \

Historical Foundation and Practical Guideline for Ferroelectric Switching Kinetic Studies

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The P and U pulses in the conventional PUND measurements are not identical because of the interplay between switching current and the measurement circuit components. This circuit effect can lead to a shift in polarization transients and misinterpreted physics in the switching kinetics.

Motivating Generalized Extremal Problems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
In this talk, we discuss the history of extremal graph theory, in particular motivating several generalizations of classical extremal questions which have become popular in recent years.
