State-Space Geometry, Statistical Fluctuations, and Black Holes in String Theory
We study the state-space geometry of various extremal and nonextremal black holes in string theory. From the notion of the intrinsic geometry, we offer a state-space perspective to the black hole vacuum fluctuations.

On the regularization of extremal three-point functions involving giant gravitons
In the AdS5/CFT4 set-up, extremal three-point functions involving two giant 1/2 BPS gravitons and one point-like 1/2 BPS graviton, when calculated using semi-classical string theory methods, match the corresponding three-point functions obtained in the ...

Electromagnetic quasitopological gravities
We identify a set of higher-derivative extensions of Einstein-Maxwell theory that allow for spherically symmetric charged solutions characterized by a single metric function f (r) = −g tt = 1/g rr .

Unconstrained Lagrangian Variational Principles for the Einstein Field Equations
This paper deals with the problem of establishing a systematic theoretical formulation of variational principles for the continuum gravitational field dynamics of classical General Relativity (GR).

Approximation of the classes $W^{r}_{\beta,\infty}$ by three-harmonic Poisson integrals
In the paper, we solve one extremal problem of the theory of approximation of functional classes by linear methods. Namely, questions are investigated concerning the approximation of classes of differentiable functions by $\lambda$-methods of summation ...

Hypernormal distribution theory: Analysis of the set of extreme random variables models
The analysis of the set of extreme random variables models is still an extremely topical topic in many areas of mathematical research in the theory and practice of managing production processes due to its specificity and great interest in finding an expectation and stability indicators set studied in practical economics.

Radially Excited AdS5 Black Holes in Einstein–Maxwell–Chern–Simons Theory
In the large coupling regime of the 5-dimensional Einstein–Maxwell–Chern–Simons theory, charged and rotating cohomogeneity-1 black holes form sequences of extremal and non-extremal radially excited configurations.

We present a JT gravity set up in the presence of projected ModMax corrections in two dimensions. Our starting point is the Einstein’s gravity in four dimensions accompanied by the ModMax Lagrangian. The 2D gravity action is obtained following a suitable

A generalization of the AZ identity
Ahlswede R, Cai N. A generalization of the AZ identity. Combinatorica. 1993;13(3):241-247.The identity discovered in [1] can be viewed as a sharpening of the LYM inequality ([3], [4], [5]).
