We study the uniqueness of optimal solutions to extremal graph theory problems. Lovász conjectured that every finite feasible set of subgraph density constraints can be extended further by a finite set of density constraints so that the resulting set is ...

Single particle operators and their correlators in free N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 SYM
We consider a set of half-BPS operators in N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 super Yang-Mills theory which are appropriate for describing single-particle states of superstring theory on AdS5 × S 5.

Microstrata are the non-extremal analogues of superstrata: they are smooth, non-extremal (non-BPS) solitonic solutions to IIB supergravity whose deep-throat limits approximate black holes.

Extreme convex set functions with finite carrier: General theory
AbstractLet Ω={1,…,n} and P={X:S⊆Ω}. A mapping e : P→R+ is a convex set function if e(⊖)=0 and e(S) + e(T)⩽e(S∩T) + e(S ∪ T) for all S. TϵP. The set of convex set functions for fixed Ω is a convex cone and the paper is dealing with the extreme points of the base 1 = {e: e(Ω)=1} of this cone.

ABSTRACT Background PIK3CA‐related overgrowth spectrum (PROS) includes several rare overgrowth disorders resulting from somatic gain‐of‐function mutations in PIK3CA. Despite treatment advances, including the recent approval of alpelisib for PROS in the United States, literature detailing the patient experience with PROS is limited.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Large diffeomorphisms and accidental symmetry of the extremal horizon
We uncover a symmetry of the linear Einstein equations near extremal horizons. Specifically, acting with a spherically symmetric linearized diffeomorphism on the perturbative solutions to the Einstein-Maxwell equations in the Bertotti-Robinson background,
