Strong disconnectedness properties and remainders in compactifications
We study when a Tychonoff space X is countably compact at infinity, that is, the remainder of X in some (in any) Hausdorff compactification of X is countably compact. Though no internal characterization of such spaces is given, we present some sufficient

Mechanically origami‐coded 3D kirigami photovoltaics convert a single extension–release cycle into deterministic self‐folding, reconfiguring planar solar cells into programmable 3D modules. Distinct coding strategies enable either ultrahigh stretchability (500% system strain) or ultrahigh initial effective areal coverage (225%).

Insertion of continuous real functions on spaces, bispaces, ordered spaces and point-free spaces - a common root [PDF]
We characterize normal and extremally disconnected biframes in terms of the insertion of a continuous real function in between given lower and upper semicontinuous real functions and show this to be the common root of several classical and new ...

Stone duality and Gleason covers through de Vries duality
We introduce zero-dimensional de Vries algebras and show that the category of zero-dimensional de Vries algebras is dually equivalent to the category of Stone spaces. This shows that Stone duality can be obtained as a particular case of de Vries duality.

Phase Engineering of Nanomaterials (PEN): Evolution, Current Challenges, and Future Opportunities
This review summarizes the synthesis, phase transition, advanced characterization spanning ex situ to in situ and operando techniques, and diverse applications of phase engineering of nanomaterials (PEN). It further outlines key challenges and future opportunities, such as phase stability, architecture control, and artificial intelligence (AI)‐driven ...

A more general definition of extremally µ-disconnected generalized topological space [3] is introduced and its properties are studied. We have further improved the definitions of generalized open sets [1] and upper(lower) semi-continuous functions ...

In this paper, we introduce and explore γ-S-closed spaces. It is evident by definition that γ-S-closed space coincides with γ-s-closed space, if the underlying space is γ-extremally ...
