The horofunction boundary of the Hilbert geometry
We investigate the horofunction boundary of the Hilbert geometry defined on an arbitrary finite-dimensional bounded convex domain D. We determine its set of Busemann points, which are those points that are the limits of `almost-geodesics'.

Translational cancer research and its implementation through competitively selected Comprehensive Cancer Centers across Europe should be the primary policy focus for addressing the increasing cancer burden in Europe and counteract the present main strategy to convert cancer to a chronic disease.

The norming set of a bilinear form on a certain normed space $\mathbb{R}^2$
In this paper we classify the norming set of a bilinear form on the plane with a certain norm whose unit ball has only four extreme points. We obtain the results of [6, 8] as corollary.

Amino acids sequence of two different proteins with the same sequence (chameleon sequence—black boxes) represent in 3D structure of the proteins different secondary structures: HHHH—helical and BBB—Beta‐structural. The chains folded in water environment adopt different III‐order structures in which the chameleon fragments appear to adopt similar status

Certain classes of harmonic functions pertaining to special functions [PDF]
Making use of generalized Dziok-Srivastava operator we introduced a new class of complexvalued harmonic functions which are orientation preserving, univalent and starlike in the unit disc.

Determining the Viability of an Unbounded Polyhedron for a Switched System
This paper proposes a new method to determine the viability of a switched system on a cone and an unbounded polyhedron. First, we investigate the viability condition on a cone.

On the Lengths of Curves Passing through Boundary Points of a Planar Convex Shape
We study the lengths of curves passing through a fixed number of points on the boundary of a convex shape in the plane. We show that for any convex shape $K$, there exist four points on the boundary of $K$ such that the length of any curve passing ...

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Intercompartmental communication in senescence
Senescent cells experience structural changes in the plasma membrane, endoplasmic reticulum, mitochondria, lysosomes, nucleus, and cytoskeleton. These alterations disrupt crosstalk among cellular compartments, impairing vesicular trafficking, contact sites, and molecular flow.
