Иммобилизация на окисленной бактериальной целлюлозе L-аспарагиназы для улучшения термостабильности фермента [PDF]

open access: yes
Bacterial cellulose (BC) membranes can be modified for covalent immobilization of macromolecules. One type of modification is oxidation, after which the oxidized BC membrane (OBC) could be used as a matrix for covalent immobilization of enzymes.

Utilization of formic acid by extremely thermoacidophilic archaea species

open access: yesMicrobial Biotechnology, Volume 17, Issue 9, September 2024.
Our work explores formic acid metabolism in extreme microorganisms, novel hosts that hold promise for biomanufacturing distinct products including thermostable enzymes and lipids. We investigated formic acid tolerance and utilization in archaea species within the Sulfolobus genus, and novel bioreactor culturing methods to overcome formic acid toxicity.

A plant-insertable multi-enzyme biosensor for the real-time monitoring of stomatal sucrose uptake [PDF]

open access: yes
Monitoring sucrose transport in plants is essential for understanding plant physiology and improving agricultural practices, yet effective sensors for continuous and real-time in-vivo monitoring are lacking. In this study, we developed a plant-insertable
