Flow Cytometry‐Guided Diagnosis of Cortical T‐Lymphoblastic Lymphoma Presenting With a Massive Mediastinal Mass and Borderline Bone Marrow Involvement

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Laboratory Analysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background T‐cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (T‐LBL) and T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) are considered a single biological entity, distinguished primarily by the extent of bone marrow infiltration. Characteristics of ascitic fluid and diagnosis of bacterial peritonitis in malignant ascites: An observational study

open access: yesJournal of Hospital Medicine, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Bacterial peritonitis in patients with malignant ascites (BP‐MA) is an understudied, high‐mortality condition. While ascitic polymorphonuclear (PMN) cell count ≥ 250 cells/mm3 defines the diagnosis of spontaneous bacterial peritonitis (SBP) in patients with cirrhosis, an ascitic fluid parameter for the diagnosis of BP‐MA has not ...
