Enhanced Endophytic Colonization of Flavobacterium Promotes Plant Resistance to Fusarium Wilt

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A natural microbial consortium employing a cross‐feeding strategy forms a stratified biofilm that promotes endophytic colonization of auxotrophic Flavobacterium. This enhanced colonization activates plant systemic resistance, effectively suppressing Fusarium wilt.

Fluorescein angiographic findings in familial exudative vitreoretinopathy.

open access: yes, 1976
We describe the fluorescein angiograms in four cases of familial exudative vitreoretinopathy. The vascular nature of the temporal retinal masses is confirmed. Primary abnormalities within the peripheral retinal circulation are demonstrated. We stress the

Clinical-imaging diversity of exudative pulmonary cryptococcosis with different immune states

open access: yesScientific Reports
We aimed to evaluate the clinical-imaging diversity of exudative pulmonary cryptococcosis (PC) with different immune states. The clinical and imaging data of 76 patients with PC (immunocompetent exudative PC 36 cases and immunocompromised exudative PC 40

Metal–Phenolic Complexation Governs Soil Mineral Crystallinity to Enhance Crop Growth

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A coordination‐driven, coprecipitation approach is presented to obtain polyphenolic‐incorporated minerals with tunable crystallinity, offering insights into how plants may influence soil mineral structures. Soil minerals can incorporate polyphenolic secondary metabolites and enhance plant nutrition by facilitating the formation of amorphous metal ...

Decreased Circulating Levels of Dickkopf-1 in Patients with Exudative Age-related Macular Degeneration

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2017
Aberrant activation of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway plays a pathogenic role in retinal inflammation and neovascularization. Here, we investigated whether circulating levels of Dickkopf-1 (DKK-1), a specific inhibitor of this pathway, are altered ...

Features of the biochemical parameters of blood and exudates during tubercular exudative pleurisy

open access: yesБюллетень сибирской медицины, 2012
Some biochemical indicators of peripheral blood and pleural fluid (level of the total protein, glucose, lactate dehydrogenase activity) at patients with various variants of tubercular exudative pleurisy (MBT-positive and MBT-negative) for the purpose of ...

Rhizodeposition Drives One Third of Belowground Carbon Input in Agroecosystems

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study quantifies photosynthesized C allocation in the plant–soil system across six crop types: barley, wheat, maize, rice, legumes and grasses. It reports C partitioning into shoot respiration, shoot‐C, root‐C, net rhizodeposition and root‐derived CO2, providing standardized percentage averages and GPP‐derived absolute values as a robust baseline ...

MODERN ASPECTS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF EXUDATIVE OTITIS MEDIA

open access: yes, 2023
<p>Exudative otitis media is manifested by the appearance of a viscous fluid in the middle ear. According to WHO, 80% of healthy people have anamnesis revealed that they suffered exudative otitis media in childhood. The spread of this disease among

An Adenoviral‐Vectored Tp0326 Vaccine Elicits Robust Functional Antibodies to Prevent Treponema pallidum Dissemination in a Rabbit Model

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Vaccination promotes cellular infiltration into primary lesions and effectively inhibits T. pallidum dissemination to distal organs. Notably, transfer of lesion tissue from immunized animals fails to establish infection in naive recipients, confirming specific protective immunity.
