Visual attention analysis using eyetracker data

open access: yes, 2008
Little research has been done on the task of how a person searches for images when presented with a set of images, typically those presented by image search engines. By investigating the properties we might be able to present the images in a different manner to ease the users search for the image he/she is looking for.

Portable eyetracking-based assessment of memory decline

Journal of Clinical and Experimental Neuropsychology, 2018
Preferential viewing of novel stimuli in the Visual Paired Comparison task has provided a useful marker of memory and medial temporal lobe function. We created a portable version of the VPC (P-VPC) and contrasted P-VPC metrics against the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) in healthy adults, to assess the validity and reliability of the P-VPC as an ...

Accurate three-dimensional eyetracker

Applied Optics, 1978
A combined optometer and eyetracking instrument has been developed to measure both the dynamic refractive power and the direction of gaze of the same eye. In effect, this instrument measures, as a function of time, the point in 3-D space on which the eye is fixated. Nothing is attached to the subject (patient), who is easily aligned in the device.

Eyetrace2014 - Eyetracking Data Analysis Tool

Proceedings of the International Conference on Health Informatics, 2015
Over the last years eye tracking became more and more popular. A variety of new eye-tracker models and algorithms for eye tracking data processing emerged. On the one hand this multitude of hard- and software brought many advantages, on the other hand the diversity of devices and measures impedes the comparability and repeatability of eye-tracking ...

Eyetracker communication system

The Seventh Annual Symposium on Computer Applications in Medical Care, 1983. Proceedings., 2005
For children with severe cerebral palsy or a variety of head or high spinal injuries, communication through normal means or with existing technology is virtually impossible. Many of these children have normal intelligence but cannot speak or make other reliable overt movements.

Generation-V dual-Purkinje-image eyetracker

Applied Optics, 1985
Major advances characterize the Generation-V dual-Purkinje-image eyetracker compared with the Generation-III version previously described. These advances include a large reduction in size, major improvements in frequency response and noise level, automatic alignment to a subject, and automatic adjustment for different separation between the visual and ...
