Ofatumumab in Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein Antibody–Associated Disease: A Comparison With Rituximab

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of ofatumumab in patients with myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody–associated disease (MOGAD), and compare it with rituximab. Methods We conducted a single–center, observational study including 22 MOGAD patients treated with ofatumumab and 21 treated with rituximab.

Common fixed point theorems for (T,g)F $(T,g)_{F}$-contraction in b-metric-like spaces

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2018
In this paper, we introduce the concept of (T,g)F $(T,g)_{F}$-contraction and investigate some fixed point theorems for such contraction in b-metric-like spaces. Moreover, an example is given to support one of our results, and an application is proposed.

Iterating Fixed Point via Generalized Mann’s Iteration in Convex b-Metric Spaces with Application

open access: yesComplexity, 2021
This manuscript investigates fixed point of single-valued Hardy-Roger’s type F-contraction globally as well as locally in a convex b-metric space. The paper, using generalized Mann’s iteration, iterates fixed point of the abovementioned contraction ...

Multivalued almost F-contractions on complete metric spaces

open access: yesFilomat, 2016
In the present paper, considering a new concept of multivalued almost F-contraction, we give a general class of multivalued weakly Picard operators on complete metric spaces. Also, we give some illustrative examples showing that our results are proper generalizations of some previous ...

Contraction-Mediated Glucose Transport in Skeletal Muscle is Regulated by a Framework of AMPK, TBC1D1/4 and Rac1

open access: yes, 2021
The two closely related RabGTPase-activating proteins (RabGAPs) TBC1D1 and TBC1D4, both substrates for the AMP-activated protein kinase AMPK, play important roles in exercise metabolism and contraction-dependent translocation of the glucose transporter ...

Early Clinical, Imaging, and Pathological Characteristics of SRPK3/TTN‐Digenic Myopathy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective SRPK3/TTN‐digenic myopathy was recently established as a skeletal muscle myopathy caused by digenic inheritance. This study characterizes the early clinical presentation of SRPK3/TTN‐digenic myopathy in one previously reported and seven newly identified pediatric patients.

COMMON FIXED POINT THEOREMS FOR f-CONTRACTION MAPPINGS IN TVS-VALUED CONE METRIC SPACE

open access: yesJournal of New Theory, 2016
– We generalize the result of Abbas and Rhoades [1] and obtained some common fixed point results for two Banach pair of mappings which satisfies f-contraction condition on Topological vector space Valued Cone metric space (TVS-CMS) without the notion of ...

Contraction-induced glucose transport into skeletal muscle : the involvement of protein kinase C

open access: yes, 1990
The role of PKc as a possible intracellular mediator of exercise-induced increase in skeletal muscle glucose transport was investigated. Two skeletal systems were used, the in vivo rat gastrocnemius-plantaris-soleus muscle preparation, and the in vitro ...

Onasemnogene Abeparvovec in Patients With SMA: Interim Results of the RESTORE Registry in Japan

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective There are limited real‐world data regarding the safety and effectiveness of onasemnogene abeparvovec (OA; Zolgensma) infusion, a one‐time gene replacement therapy, for Japanese patients with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). We aimed to improve understanding of the real‐world outcomes for OA in Japan.

Autoimmune Comorbidities as Modifiers of Phenotypic Heterogeneity in Facioscapulohumeral Dystrophy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Facioscapulohumeral dystrophy type 1 (FSHD1) shows clinical heterogeneity that is only partly explained by D4Z4 repeat unit (RU) size. Although immune and inflammatory mechanisms may contribute to disease variability, the prevalence and clinical impact of autoimmune diseases in FSHD remain unclear.
