Matrix Factorizations for Local F-Theory Models [PDF]
I use matrix factorizations to describe branes at simple singularities as they appear in elliptic fibrations of local F-theory models. Each node of the corresponding Dynkin diagrams of the ADE-type singularities is associated with one indecomposable matrix factorization which can be deformed into one or more factorizations of lower rank.

Using mass cytometry, we analyzed serial blood samples from patients with relapsed epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) treated with oleclumab–durvalumab combination immunotherapy in the NSGO‐OV‐UMB1/ENGOT‐OV30 trial. Our analysis identified potential predictive, monitoring, and response biomarkers detectable through liquid biopsy. These findings facilitate

Vascular endothelial‐cadherin as a marker of endothelial injury in preclinical Alzheimer disease
Abstract Objective Endothelial dysfunction is an early and prevalent pathology in Alzheimer disease (AD). We here investigate the value of vascular endothelial‐cadherin (VEC) as a cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) marker of endothelial injury in preclinical AD.

B^F Theory and Flat Spacetimes
We propose a reduced constrained Hamiltonian formalism for the exactly soluble $B \wedge F$ theory of flat connections and closed two-forms over manifolds with topology $\Sigma^3 \times (0,1)$.

Orientifold limits of singular F-theory vacua
We construct global orientifold limits of singular F-theory vacua whose associated gauge groups are SO(3), SO(5), SO(6), F4, SU(4), and Spin(7). For each limit we show a universal tadpole relation is satisfied, which is a homological identity whose ...

Cancer stem cells are associated with aggressive disease, but a deep characterization of such markers is lacking in endometrial cancer. This study uses imaging mass cytometry to explore putative cancer stem cell markers in endometrial tumors and corresponding organoid models.

COVID‐19 and the risk of Alzheimer's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and multiple sclerosis
Abstract Background The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) pandemic has had an unprecedented impact on the healthcare system, economy, and society. Studies have reported that COVID‐19 may cause various neurologic symptoms, including cognitive impairment.

Viable and stable compact stars in $$f({\mathcal {Q}})$$ f ( Q ) theory
In this paper, we study the viability and stability of anisotropic compact stars in the context of $$f({\mathcal {Q}})$$ f ( Q ) theory, where $${\mathcal {Q}}$$ Q is non-metricity scalar.
