Superintegrable Hamiltonian systems with noncompact invariant submanifolds. Kepler system
The Mishchenko-Fomenko theorem on superintegrable Hamiltonian systems is generalized to superintegrable Hamiltonian systems with noncompact invariant submanifolds.

T-junction ion trap array for two-dimensional ion shuttling, storage and manipulation [PDF]
We demonstrate a two-dimensional 11-zone ion trap array, where individual laser-cooled atomic ions are stored, separated, shuttled, and swapped. The trap geometry consists of two linear rf ion trap sections that are joined at a 90 degree angle to form a ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

The uptake of 18F-fluorothymidine (18F-FLT) depends on cells’ proliferative rates. We compared the characteristics of 18F-FLT positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) with those of 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (18F-FDG) PET/CT for breast ...

Representing Equivalence Problems for Combinatorial Objects [PDF]
Methods for representing equivalence problems of various combinatorial objects as graphs or binary matrices are considered. Such representations can be used for isomorphism testing in classification or generation algorithms.

Black hole accretion disks in the canonical low-hard state [PDF]
Stellar-mass black holes in the low-hard state may hold clues to jet formation and basic accretion disk physics, but the nature of the accretion flow remains uncertain. A standard thin disk can extend close to the innermost stable circular orbit, but the

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Fast Bitwise Implementation of the Algebraic Normal Form Transform [PDF]
The representation of Boolean functions by their algebraic normal forms (ANFs) is very important for cryptography, coding theory and other scientific areas. The ANFs are used in computing the algebraic degree of S-boxes, some other cryptographic criteria

This work identified serum proteins associated with pancreatic epithelial neoplasms (PanINs) and early‐stage PDAC. Proteomics screens assessed genetically engineered mice with abundant PanINs, KPC mice (Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐KrasG12D/+ Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐Trp53R172H/+ Pdx1‐Cre) before PDAC development and also early‐stage PDAC patients (n = 31), compared to benign ...

Non-archimedean Eberlein-mulian theory
It is shown that, for a large class of non-archimedean normed spaces E, a subset X is weakly compact as soon as f(X) is compact for all f∈E′ (Theorem 2.1), a fact that has no analogue in Functional Analysis over the real or complex numbers.
