Self‐harm in individuals with substance use disorders: Predictive factors and risk model
Abstract Background and aims Substance use disorders are associated with an elevated risk of self‐harm. Currently, clinical and structured assessment of self‐harm risk typically relies on evidence from the general population samples. The aim of this study was to develop a risk model for self‐harm that incorporates predictors specific to individuals ...

Extending reliability to intensive longitudinal data with the Kalman filter
Abstract Reliability is central to how researchers approach measurement in standard, group‐based analyses of single‐time‐point data, yet this critical aspect is often overlooked in the analysis of repeated observations. Since its inception, reliability has been a between‐person concept, but we redevelop this notion for within‐person designs by ...

Map of Lower sediment (LS) thickness is a surrogate for the distribution of Thorncliffe Formation (TF) and ~75% of TF thickness from the slope of Niagara Escarpment east to Brighton. Inset images show the LS sequence at the Don Valleys brickyards (DVBY) and undeformed TF sand and gravel (~15 m) below Newmarket Till (NT) at sites L and Co.

Background and Purpose Ketamine consists of two enantiomers, (R)‐ketamine and (S)‐ketamine, which exhibit distinct pharmacological properties. Currently, only the (S)‐enantiomer has been approved for the treatment of major depressive disorder, whereas recent clinical studies have failed to demonstrate an antidepressant effect for (R)‐ketamine.

PLGA‐particle‐based vaccine induces SARS‐CoV‐2‐specific antibody and T‐cell responses
A novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) vaccine encapsulating recombinant severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS‐CoV‐2) spike receptor binding domain (RBD) with the double stranded RNA (dsRNA) analogue Riboxxim induces robust systemic and respiratory T‐ and B‐cell responses in mice.

Abstract Background and Purpose Aberrant activation of type 2 ryanodine receptors (RyR2) causes lethal arrhythmias, such as catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT). Developing drugs that suppress RyR2 hyperactivation may be key to novel arrhythmia treatments.
