Sonogenetic Control of Engineered Probiotics for the Treatment of MASH by Modulating the Gut‐Liver Axis

Researchers developed an engineered probiotic encapsulated in an inulin hydrogel, enabling ultrasound‐triggered intestinal delivery of IL‐22. In MASH model mice, this system remodeled gut microbiota, strengthened the intestinal barrier and reduced portal LPS and hepatic IL‐6.

Bacteria‐Derived 1‐Allylpiperazine Alleviates Symptoms of Parkinson's Disease Model by Promoting Autophagy

Parkinson's disease currently has no disease‐modifying therapies. In Caenorhabditis elegans, Escherichia coli E8 alleviates α‐synuclein‐provoked PD‐related defects through its bioactive metabolite 1‐ALPP, which combats PD by triggering AMPK/mTOR/HLH‐30‐dependent autophagy and suppressing α‐synuclein LLPS‐mediated fibrillization.

High‐Density‐Cluster Ru Catalyst Substitute for Pt/C Benchmark Improves Membrane Water Electrolysis

Yuan et al. report a high‐density, monodispersed Ru cluster catalyst featuring interfacial covalent bonds that modulate the electronic structure and optimize intermediate adsorption–desorption, thereby conferring pH‐universal HER activity with ampere‐level current densities and enabling the development of Pt‐free membrane electrodes.
