Semiclassical theory of spin-polarized shot noise in mesoscopic diffusive conductors [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
We study fluctuations of spin-polarized currents in a three-terminal spin-valve system consisting of a diffusive normal metal wire connected by tunnel junctions to three ferromagnetic terminals.

Revealing the Diverse Allergenic Protein Repertoire of Six Widely Consumed Crab Species: A Species‐Specific Allergen in King Crab

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
This study comprehended the allergen profiles of six edible crab species using proteomic and transcriptomic analyses and identified 11 putative allergens. King crab has a distinct protein and allergen profile, with the discovery of malate dehydrogenase as a novel king crab‐specific allergen registered as Para c 11.

Integrable lattices and their sublattices II. From the B-quadrilateral lattice to the self-adjoint schemes on the triangular and the honeycomb lattices

open access: yes, 2007
An integrable self-adjoint 7-point scheme on the triangular lattice and an integrable self-adjoint scheme on the honeycomb lattice are studied using the sublattice approach.

Olig2‐specific loss‐of‐function Slc35a2 results in hypomyelination and spontaneous seizures

open access: yesEpilepsia, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective Malformations of cortical development represent major causes of drug‐resistant epilepsy, with mild malformation of cortical development with oligodendroglial hyperplasia and epilepsy recognized as a distinct pathological entity. Pathogenic X‐linked SLC35A2, encoding the uridine diphosphate–galactose transporter, has been implicated ...

Knock knock, who's there? Identifying wild species‐specific fish sounds with passive acoustic localization and random forest models

open access: yesJournal of Fish Biology, EarlyView.
Abstract Passive acoustic monitoring (PAM) is a useful non‐destructive tool for evaluating species presence, diversity and abundance. However, in marine environments, a dearth of tools and methods for identifying wild, species‐specific fish calls makes quantitative PAM assessments for specific fish species challenging.

Novikov algebras and a classification of multicomponent Camassa-Holm equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
A class of multi-component integrable systems associated to Novikov algebras, which interpolate between KdV and Camassa-Holm type equations, is obtained. The construction is based on the classification of low-dimensional Novikov algebras by Bai and Meng.

Harvesting Value! Exploring How Climate‐Smart Agriculture Practices Change Farm Business Models in Europe

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, Volume 35, Issue 1, Page 777-789, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Climate‐smart agriculture (CSA) is essential for sustainable farming. However, the adaptation of farm business models (BM) for widespread CSA implementation in Europe remains underexplored. This article investigates how CSA practices change or innovate farm BMs.
