On the associativity property of MPF over M16

open access: yesLietuvos matematikos rinkinys, 2018
The objective of this paper is to find suitable non-commuting algebraic structure to be used as a platform structure in the so-called matrix power function (MPF). We think it is non-trivial and interesting problem could be useful for candidate one-way function (OWF) construction with application in cryptography.

PERIOD CHANGES OF MIRA VARIABLES IN THE M16-M17 REGION

open access: yesOpen European Journal on Variable stars, 2022
We analyzed the light curves of 165 AGB variables, mostly Miras, in the sky area centered between M16 and M17 (l = 16, b = 0), using the OGLE GVS database in the IC band. Comparison with the published light curves, derived about 50 years earlier by P.

Designing Governance for ESG: Incentive and Oversight Complementarities in Corporate Sustainability Performance

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study investigates how internal governance design supports credible ESG performance by distinguishing between Incentive and Oversight Architectures. Using 13,993 firm‐year observations of US nonfinancial firms from 2018 to 2024, we estimate fixed effects and two‐step system GMM models.

Bridging Bystander Intervention and Workplace Inclusion: The Critical Role of Perceived Fairness, Support, and Safety

open access: yesJournal of Organizational Behavior, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Bystander intervention is widely assumed to foster workplace inclusion, yet no studies have directly examined this relationship. Through abductive qualitative analysis of 53 interviews across two contrasting organisations—a consulting firm and a remote mine site—we investigate how bystander intervention relates to workplace inclusion for ...

An investigation of the neutral and ionized gas in M16

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal, 1981
An attempt is made to understand the physical and kinematic conditions in the M16 active star formation site, by means of mapping observations of neutral and ionized hydrogen and observations of (C-12)O from selected positions within the H II regions. The 21-cm maps suggest that at least two neutral clouds are present in the M16 complex, one of which ...

Exploring biofiber properties and their influence on biocomposite tensile properties

open access: yesPolymer International, EarlyView.
The study measured the physical, flow and chemical properties of 10 biofibers. It characterized the tensile properties of derived biocomposites and linked them using regression models, showing robust predictive performance. Abstract Biofibers serve as effective reinforcements for neat polylactic acid (PLA) in biocomposites, offering an attractive ...

Range‐wide sampling reveals cryptic lineages but largely conserved mycorrhizal associations in the Japanese fairy lantern Thismia kobensis

open access: yesPLANTS, PEOPLE, PLANET, EarlyView.
The jewel‐like flowers of Thismia are as rare as they are beautiful, often recorded from only a single site per species. Access to 15 populations of T. kobensis has enabled an uncommon, range‐wide assessment of morphology, genetics, and fungal partners. Our analyses showed that T.

The Mediator's Mind: Navigating Party Psychology and Behavioural Dynamics in Dispute Resolution

open access: yesSystems Research and Behavioral Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Mediation increasingly requires psychological competence, as mediators regulate emotion, cognition and interaction within conflict systems. This study examines how mediators' psychological awareness and behavioural reflexivity shape conflict trajectories, advancing the concept of a behavioural architecture that transforms emotional volatility ...
