Residual flexibility in the topologically constrained multivalent complex between the GKAP scaffold and LC8 hub proteins

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, Volume 293, Issue 1, Page 76-95, January 2026.
The scaffold protein GKAP and the hub protein LC8 form a well‐defined hexameric complex, with the stoichiometry of 2 GKAP : 2 LC8 dimers. NMR and molecular dynamics calculations confirm that the LC8‐binding segment of GKAP is intrinsically disordered even in the complex form.

From qubits to E7

open access: yes, 2010
There is a intriguing relation between quantum information theory and super gravity, discovered by M.J. Duff and S. Ferrara. It relates entanglement measures for qubits to black hole entropy, which in a certain case involves the quartic invariant on the ...

Microarray genomotyping of key experimental strains of Neisseria gonorrhoeae reveals gene complement diversity and five new neisserial genes associated with Minimal Mobile Elements.

open access: yesBMC Genomics, 2004
Background There are four widely used experimental strains of N. gonorrhoeae, one of which has been sequenced and used as the basis for the construction of a multi-strain, mutli-species pan-neisserial microarray. Although the N.

Characteristics of the parent‐child relationship at 18‐months of age predict the onset and type of mental disorders in childhood and adolescence: A longitudinal nested birth cohort study

open access: yesJCPP Advances, Volume 5, Issue 3, September 2025.
This study found that the characteristics of the parent‐child relationship at 18‐months of age predicted the onset and type of mental disorders in childhood and adolescence. ADHD was specifically predicted by parental negative affect and behavior during early parent‐child interactions, while autism spectrum disorders were predicted specifically by ...
