Wave packet propagation by the Faber polynomial approximation in electrodynamics of passive media

open access: yes, 2005
Maxwell's equations for propagation of electromagnetic waves in dispersive and absorptive (passive) media are represented in the form of the Schr\"odinger equation $i\partial \Psi/\partial t = {H}\Psi$, where ${H}$ is a linear differential operator ...

Orthogonal polynomials of discrete variable and boundedness of Dirichlet kernel [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
For orthogonal polynomials defined by compact Jacobi matrix with exponential decay of the coefficients, precise properties of orthogonality measure is determined.

Coefficient Estimates for New Subclasses of Bi-Univalent Functions with Bounded Boundary Rotation by Using Faber Polynomial Technique

open access: yesAxioms
In this article, the authors use the Faber polynomial expansions to find the general coefficient estimates for a few new subclasses of bi-univalent functions with bounded boundary rotation and bounded radius rotation.

Artificial Intelligence‐Assisted Workflow for Transmission Electron Microscopy: From Data Analysis Automation to Materials Knowledge Unveiling

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
AI‐Assisted Workflow for (Scanning) Transmission Electron Microscopy: From Data Analysis Automation to Materials Knowledge Unveiling. Abstract (Scanning) transmission electron microscopy ((S)TEM) has significantly advanced materials science but faces challenges in correlating precise atomic structure information with the functional properties of ...

Faber Polynomial Coefficients and Applications in Analytic Function Class

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics
Through this paper, by using the subordination definition, the ℘-analogues Cătaş operator I℘nλ,I, complex order, and biunivalent functions with coefficients introduced by Faber polynomial expansion, we introduced the new class S℘,n∗f,λ,I,ξ,α,ϕ.

Neighborhood social environments and mental health among youth and adults in public housing

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Community Psychology, EarlyView.
Abstract Neighborhoods influence health in part through social processes. However, little is known about how multiple neighborhood social processes co‐occur, or about within (vs. between) neighborhood variation in social processes and health. This study asked how residents of a large public housing development describe their neighborhood and used ...

On the boundedness of poles of generalized Padé approximants

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2019
Given a function F holomorphic on a neighborhood of some compact subset of the complex plane, we prove that if the zeros of the denominators of generalized Padé approximants (orthogonal Padé approximants and Padé–Faber approximants) for some row sequence

From Farm to Table: Multifactorial Determinants of Dietary Diversity and Food Security Within Sustainable Rice‐Producing Systems in Bangladesh

open access: yeseFood, Volume 7, Issue 2, April 2026.
This study examines the factors influencing dietary diversity and food security in rural Bangladesh, emphasizing the roles of income and crop diversification. Findings highlight that larger farms, diversified income, and access to agricultural services improve food security, while larger households and greater market distances increase food insecurity.

Coefficient Estimates for Certain Classes of Bi-Univalent Functions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2013
A function analytic in the open unit disk is said to be bi-univalent in if both the function and its inverse map are univalent there. The bi-univalency condition imposed on the functions analytic in makes the behavior of their coefficients ...
